The silver and gray she-cat padded out of ShadowClans camp that night. For some reason she couldn't sleep. She had overheard some of the older apprentices talking about death trap tasks that they needed to do in order to become a warrior. What was this clan coming too? Her blue eyes flashed innocently as she walked into the marshes to a large tree. This was where she liked to relax as an apprentice when she wanted to get away from camp. She honestly missed those days. During those days she actually didn't have to worry. What about now? She always had to worry.
Minnowpool bunched up her hind legs and dug her claws into the bark. She scaled the tree with some difficulty since she hadn't done it in awhile. She managed to get to the first branch and called it quits. ShadowClan cats weren't made for tree climbing. The first branch would be an achievement for anyone. She looked over her territory through the darkness. No one could see her, but she could see everything. It made the she-cat feel...like she had power in her paws that no one could take away.

A orange tabby tom was siting in camp looking around, It was peaceful and so he decided to go for a walk around the territory. He got up, stretched, and then walked out of camp. He couldn't put a paw on the mysterious Crimsonleaf, the way she acted. It was weird. He knew her but not really good because she would always be alone and in the dark.
Reedstorm stopped at this giant tree that was near the mashes, he decided to stop there and just relax. it was very nice to hear the frogs croaking. He looked around and then in the tree, Is that a bird? He thought. Licking his lips he slowly dug his claws into the tree and then raced up almost knocking Minnowpool off. When he relized it was Minnowpool, his eyes went wide. Minnowpool! i thought you were a bird, im sorry. He said embarrassed |

Minnowpool closed her eyes. Her ears flicked when she heard light paw steps. SHe knew she couldn't be seen so she thought nothing of it. Next thing she knew an orange tabby nearly knocked her off of her branch. With a startled hiss the she-cat dug her claws into the bark. Her fur rose an inch off her body and she snorted when she got her balance. She blinked a few times and let her fur lay flat. When Reedstorm apologized she just nodded."Next time use your nose. You should have been able to scent me near this tree you big goof." The she-cat nudged him lightly before blinking her eyes with amusement.
"Last time I checked I was no bird." she mused."What brings you out this late anyways Reedstorm. It's rather late, then again you do appear to be a tom who may be a night owl like myself.":

He was shocked that she didn't push him off of the tree. He stared at her and didn't really blink, She was beautiful. It almost made his jaw drop, why didn't he see this before, was he to obsessed with Crimsonleaf. He sighed and smiled. Sorry, my stomach ruled my nose when it comes to food. And im sick of being in camp and i can't sleep. So now you know. he said to her. |

Minnowpool let out a long purr as the tom stated she couldn't sleep. She blinked her blue eyes slowly before stnding up and balancing elegantly on the branch."Want to go for a walk then? Perhaps walking will burn energy and you and myself will be able to sleep well tonight in the vast warriors den no?" she mewed with amusement. She twitched her whiskers before bunching up her hind legs and leaping off landing on the pine needles. She sat down and wrapped her tail around her paws while she waited."You know your stomach can lead you astray." She mewed with amusement waiting for the tom to join her.

The leader looked at her and smiled, That would be lovely He said almost losing his balance. He looked around and it was very nice up here. Why did shadowclan cat ever try this before? Thunderclan always did it. Reedstar looked back at Minnowpool and then at the ground. The leader took a deep breath and nodded at what she had said and then ran down the tree. When he was on the ground, he sighed and then looked up. I'll break your fall, if you fall he said with a smile, |

Minnowpool jumped down on the other side and padded up to him."Perhaps it's because I have ThunderClan in my blood Reedstar. Afterall my great great grandparents were a forbidden love. Even though I myself am pure ShadowClan there's still some of that in blood. Trees are nice. I come out here every night Reedstar." She mused wiping her tail under the toms chin playfully. She whisked her tail around her paws and blinked slowly."You are the leader Reedstar, where would you like to patrol? She asked batting her tail playfully back and forth.

Reedstar looked at minnowpool and smiled. so that explains the tree climbing he thought. He listened to her and took in her scent. It was just something he loved. Then when she asked him where he wanted to patrol, his mind stopped. uh he started to say. It was like he forgot what was on the territory. how about a little walk and instead and since you asked, you lead the way. he said with a smile. It was like he was in his own little world and the only cat that was there with him was minnowpool. Had she stolen his heart? He sighed and his eyes were like filled with love |

Minnowpool nodded and started heading deeper into their territory. There were some places that she was never shown as an apprentice and honestly, she just decided to explore one day to find half of them. She took let her tail gently fall near Reedstars. Her blue eyes were open and looked at the tom softly."It must be a lot of work being a leader Reedstar." She mewed to the tom. The she-cat cared deeply for him. It was hard knowing that he wouldn't have much time for her. She pulled her ears back and continued on."It seems you wouldn't have much time for say...a family....since you may need to take on an apprentice, and your clan needs you 100* without distractions...." Minnowpool mewed.

He looked at her, being leader isn't really that hard but when it comes to a battle then that would be hard. But i have time to myself and the clan is mostly doing good and Whisperclaw do patrols and stuff. he said. Listening to what she said next was surprising. He did have ime for a family. Minnowpool, if you want to start a family. We can. I will make all the time in the world for you. he said licking her cheek. He had fallen for her and he knew that she had fallen for him too. |

Minnowpool's blue eyes brightened when Reedstar said he had time to start a family. The gray and white she-cat paused and licked her chest before padding on. Would this be a good time to tell him? Minnowpool bit her lip nervously. The she-cat kept walking and there was a low silence. "Reedstar..." she mewed. She knew it was special to be a leaders mate."I'm expecting kits...."

Reedstar's eyes almost popped out of his head. His jaw dropped and his stare was blank. When he got the chance to close his mouth, he smiled. Minnowpool That's wounderful! He said and licked her forehead. A family is what every one needs. he whispered. He was excited that he was going to be a father. He always wanted kits. He looked at the ground for a second. I wonder how Willowfeather is doing he thought. |

Minnowpool Pulled her ears back as the tom stated it was wonderful news. Her blue eyes brightened."They will be here within the next moon. ShadowClan will be blessed. Snowleopard felt at least two. I would be happy with just one. Hopefully my younger siblings Heronpaw,Birchpaw and Fernpaw will be just as pleased.' Minnowpool mewed. She then saw her mate look at the ground and her ears pulled back once more."Did I say something wrong?"

Oh I was just thinking about my sister and how she was doing. he said looking up at her. He put a smile on his face and listened to what she said. Did she just say that she was going to have them in a moon? His jaw almost dropped but he was able to keep it shut. A moon? He said. I hope there will be atleast three, so that shadowclan can be stronger and have more warriors, just incase andthing were to happen. he said. |

Minnowpool let out a warm purr. She was glad ShadowClan would be strong because of her kits. Hopefully ShadowClan would be powerful. "Three would be nice, but I wouldn't want to give my kits up to warriorhood., but that's clan life. I would want to protect them., as would you I'm sure. I would want them to get the best mentors....and be thes best....then again I guess every queen is like that." The queen mewed. She knew before long she would be required to stay in her nest in the nursery."I should probably let Snowleopard know to stock up on borage leaves and any herbs I will need for my kiting...."
