Frostbite didnt react when her leader came up to her side and licked her between the ears. They were alone now. but she only thought about how she felt. Closing her eyes she still stood her ground and listened to what Skystar was saying.
With a slight nod she didnt feel like arguing at all. Let alone talk. She did hope this gatherings would be quick and they would leave as fast as they came.
Patchpaw shrugged her shoulders when her father told her to go mingle with the enemy. Following her sister she steered off into another group of apprentices and left Brookpaw to do her own thing.

Reedstar looked at the warriors. Go and talk. But don't get to close with anyone. Be careful He said to everyone before they reached the island. Minnowpool, If you want, you can chat to the other clans. He said and licked her cheek. He smiled and then walked into the group of cats that were there.

Pyropaw looked at Raccoontail. Yeah i don't care he said with a little attitude. When he walked out of the den he started muttering to himself. Skystar is just so mouse-brain that he pays more attention to his kids than me. I swear he has bee's in his brain or something. he said. |

Nightstar padded onto the island. He looked around and saw that all the other leader's were there. I guess I'm late he thought. He waled through the group of cats and sat near where the leader's sat.

Skyfeather was excited she got to go but Graypaw too? Why him, he was new to the clan. If she was leader, she would of let that loner, rouge or clan cat, stay in camp and let him do all the chores. She looked over at Pinespot and smiled. |

Hopping down from the tree, Robinsong looked around, spotting several familiar faces, most of which she hadn't seen since the last half-moon. She automatically approached the first fellow medicine cat she spotted. "Hello, Pebbleshine!" she mewed, swishing her fluffy tail back and forth once she got within earshot. "How has Riverclan been? No illnesses or injuries, I hope?" she purred, taking a seat and taking a quick glance at the Great Rock to see if the leaders were going to start soon before focusing her full attention on Pebbleshine.

Kestrelstar
Kestrelstar stood next to Skystar with a smile, but didn't say much, she was waiting for one of the other leaders to start the meeting. Of course she wasn't going to share the news of her kits might being alive, because cats would argue against her giving up her leader duties, and apparently that wouldn't sit right because they all knew her as the famous story teller of Riverclan, kind and considerate to all even none clan members. Although, the news of letting a kittypet in might be a little drastic, but Ink's parents were loners and she knew the basics of survival. Beside's her kits, would grow for the future of the clan.
Kestrelstar flicked her tail as she watched the cats converse. This was a happy time for her, and hopefully it wouldn't be ruined by bad news. Besides for the loners, Kestrelstar was sure peace would last just a little longer for all the clans, maybe their own problems, but that was inside their own clans was it not?

Nightowl ran alongside Skystar. When they reached the gathering he padded up to the tree and sat down where all the deputy's sat. He watched as as the rest of Thunderclan ran up to friends from other clans and mingled.
Stormpaw stopped at the edge of the clearing. He was nervous this was his first gathering he wasn't sure what to do. Spotting a group of apprentices from the other clans he padded up to them. "Hello, I'm Stormpaw." What else was he to say he was probably the youngest apprentice here. Since he had only just become a paw a few days ago.
Lilypool beside Pebbleshine, "No matter how many times I come here I still get as excited as if it where my first time," she purred softly to the medicine cat.
Swiftstep padded along. He would of rather of stayed with Heatherpetal and continue to win her trust and loyalty as well as the kits. But maybe he could get a couple cats from other clans. Maybe there was an apprentice he could lure to his side.

Pebbleshine purred in response to her clanmate. "I know exactly what you mean." Not long after their arrival, she recognized Robinsong and padded forward to close the distance between the two, touching noses with her friend. "Hello yourself. It's good to see you, as always." Her gaze drifted around the island as she answered, "Nothing we couldn't handle." It was vague, but she didn't know what she could and couldn't tell the other cats. RiverClan hadn't experienced anything terrible or anything like that, but there were some things the clans were sure to disagree about - namely the loner queen they'd accepted. "What about with WindClan?" Her gaze fell on Frostbite and she frowned. "Frostbite seems unwell..." ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ When they arrived, Birchpaw looked around, wondering what t do. He had never met any of these cats and really was not good at talking even to familiar ones. It was scary, being out here...almost like he was alone, though he knew better. He padded around until he found a comfortable spot to lay down. Maybe someone would come to him. |

Swiftstep spotted a Shadowclan apprentice pad away from the rest by himself. Smiling he padded up to the apprentice. "Greetings Birchpaw right? I remember seeing you at the last gathering. I'm Swiftstep," he wondered how the paw would react to the windclan warrior padding up to him.

Lilypool nodded than spotted Skystar and her heart beat picked up a little. But she noticed he was leaning against there medicine cat Frostbite. She looked ill. "Frostbite looks sick I wonder if she's ok and why did she come if she is sick?" She mewed softly to Pebbleshine. Maybe the medicine cat had something important to tell them so she had to come even though she was sick.
-Thunderclan-
Nightowl padded up to Skystar and Frostbit. "I could take her back Skystar if you wish. I'm sure the clans would understand it if Frostbite is ill she should be in camp to recover." His eyes where soft and filled with worry for he considered Frostbite his friend. And he didn't want anything to happen to her. He knew how Skystar cared for the medicine cat and had kept there secret to himself. Plus he missed his mate Swiftheart he wished she could of come with them. At least when they got back he could tell her all about the gathering.
Stormpaw padded up to Cloverpaw and Graypaw, "Hi I'm Stormpaw," he mewed softly to shy to say anything else.

Skystar shook his head. Nightowl was the only cat in the clan who knew about his secret. Not even his own kin knew about his secret. His kits thought snowberry was their mother."She refuses. It's just a stomach bug however, she claims she will be fine.... I've already asked to escort her back, she doesn't want cats to think ThunderClan is weak. I respect her for that...." He whispered. His blue gaze fell on Lilypool and he dipped his head. He knew now he couldn't be affectionate with Frostbite."keep an eye on her Nightowl...'" He whispered. He bunched up his legs and jumped up next to Kestrelstar."When Nightstar and Reedstar are done mingling we can begin..."" the tom whispered.

Reedstar looked up and saw that Skystar was ready. He nuzzled his mate before he went to his spot. He walked over and jumped up to his spot. He looked around and saw that there were a lot of apprentice but they looked like warriors.Well atleast the clans all look healthy he thought.
Embermask looked around. I should be with my kits but i had to come here and plus torai might be around. I need to talk to him she thought. |

Nightstar moved throught the group of cats and jumped up onto his spot next to Reedstar. He nodded at all of the leaders and then looked down. Lets get this over and done with. I need my rest. he said. He wanted to get back to camp and not worry about anything accept for his kits. He knew that heatherpetal would take car of them but he needed to see them and make sure they wouldn't get into trouble. |

Skystar nodded in greetings and stepped forward to speak. He flicked his tail and soon all was quiet."ThunderClan is doing excellent!" he mewed."Rowanpaw is a new warrior, Rowansky is his name now, Pyropaw also had his final assessment and will be made a warrior after the gathering." His gray pelt ruffled as a breeze picked up. His eyes fell on frostbite. She didn't look well at all."My kits were made apprentices two moons ago and are here today---" Skystar was interuppted by a loud wail. He looked down and saw his mate laying on the ground. The clouds covered the moon and knew StarClan was angry but why. Panic stricken the tom jumped down. He knew the leaders weren't allowed to speak anymore."Pebbleshine....please Help somethings wrong with ThunderClan's Medicine cat, and StarClan...they are angry!"

Frostbite lied on the ground crying out in pain and with tears out in the corner of her eyes. Her stomach was killing her. Placing herself on her side she breathed heavily and tried to focus on the sound of her leaders voice and work on controling her breathing but nothing was working. Was starclan angry because of her? Closing her green eyes she breathed with the pain sadly nothing was working..

Pebbleshine had been watching the other medicine cat closely, and - as she got worse - made her way to her side, so she was halfway to her before Skystar had even said her name. Something was very wrong, in StarClan as well as down here on the island. It was an emergency, and every hair on her pelt was raised in alarm and fear. But what didn't matter. What mattered was Frostbite. She had to help her, and - to do that - she had to river out the problem. She made it to Frostbite's side and gave her a few sniffs. The other she-cat was breathing heavily, her stomach heaving and moving in a peculiar way... ...a way she had seen all too recently. Then she noticed the bulge of the belly - how she'd missed it she had no idea - and knew exactly what was wrong and what must be done. "Everyone listen!" She called - hopefully loud enough for all the other cats to hear. "Lilypool, take Robinsong back to my den. I need water-soaked moss, raspberry leaves, and burnet, plus whatever else Robinsong considers useful. As much as you can carry. Take more cats if you need. Hurry! Everyone who isn't on a mission, please stay back." The raspberry leaves were used primarily to stop pain and bleeding during kitting, while burnet - normally a travelling herb - was used to help a cat keep up their strength. With those particular herbs listed, Robinsong would have no problem guessing what was wrong with ThunderClan's medicine cat, and she could use the run to determine what else they might need in case things turned really bad. She wished Snowleopard was here as well, but she'd have to make do without the ShadowClan medicine cat. Besides, most queens only had one to help them. Forstbite would have two. Once the order was given, she turned her attention back to Frostbite. Had she known she was pregnant? How did it happen? Such a thing was forbidden! It was something Pebbleshine struggled against every day. But that wasn't important right now. She needed to focus. She lightly touched Frostbite's belly with her nose, wary of causing further pain. "It's okay. I'm here to help." ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Birchpaw jumped a bit when the warrior addressed him. Really? Someone wanted to talk to him? Well...he'd try. He wanted to be friendly and to have friends - he really did - but he wasn't good at this sort of thing. At all. "H-hello," he greeted the warrior. He seemed familiar, and Birchpaw recognized him once he said his name. "It's good to see you again. How are you?" He was sure the words sounded as lame as he felt, but he was trying to be nice and polite. |

Swiftstep purred as the paw jumped, "Sorry did I startle you? If so I didn't mean to." He watched the kit closely he looked surprised that anyone would want to talk to him. "I am fine, and you? You look pretty strong it shouldn't be long before your made a warrior I'm guessing. Am I correct?"

Lilypool watched as her friend padded towards Frostbite before she was even called to. When she ordered the herbs her ears flattened. She had seen enough kittens to know the medicine cat was pregnant. No wonder why Starclan was so angry. Her eyes flicked to the sky and the hair on the back of her neck stood up. Standing up she raced towards the log and waited to see where Robinsong was so they could get going and quickly. As she stood waiting her eyes darted to Skystar pain and betrayal could be easily seen in her eyes. She was hurt. She knew she just knew some how they where his. She had seen the way Skystar had acted around her. Spotting a paw next to a windclan cat she ran over. "You Birchpaw right? We need your help carrying herbs come with us."
