Church padded through the forest as cool air brushed his fur. He felt comfort in knowing he was alone with his thoughts. The soft crackle of leaves having weight pushed against them made his ears flick as he wondered around, lazily looking around. He yawned and flexed his claws. "Shame the city isn't like this. But then again this was worth the walk. He sat down for a moment cracking his neck and sighing in relaxation afterwards.

Timberpaw made her way through the forest, looking around at everything as though seeing it for the first time - because, really, she was. She was newly apprenticed and excited that she could finally leave the camp without getting into trouble. The warriors and older apprentices had told her stories about what lie beyond the camp, but now she would get to see everything for herself. Perhaps she should have waited for her mentor to escort her, but that would take forever and she wasn't going to wait any longer now that she had permission.
An unfamiliar scent wafted toward her and she padded after it, trying to determine what - no, who, it was definitely cat scent - it was. It wasn't anyone she knew. A cat from another clan, maybe?
Then she spotted him - a black cat with an unusual stripe along his back. She had never heard of such a cat before, and her curiosity got the better of her.
"Hello. Where are you from?"

Church turned his head glaring at the new arrival of a cat. "Clan cat..." he murmured to himself. He stood up unsheathing his claws "Church. Who are you and what are you doing here?" he asked raising a brow but not breaking his stare. Figures he runs into one of these. He was told stories about how they kill anyone on their land. He was ready for a fight if this didn't go well.

The strange cat glared at her, but Timberpaw stood her ground. She was young and hadn't even started her battle training yet, but she had a duty to her clan, didn't she? If it came to it, she would have to try and run the loner off. The alternative would be to run back to camp for help, but she wasn't sure her clanmates would be happy with her for bringing a potentially dangerous tom so close to the clan's kits.
Maybe it won't have to come to that...
"I'm Timberpaw," she responded, careful to keep her fur flat and her claws sheathed. If peace could be managed, then peace was a good route to take. "I live here." Her head tilted to the side as she added, "I haven't seen you here before."

He sheathed his claws and walked around her "Yeah, you're a clan cat aren't you." he meowed. Church held back a laugh as she took note of him not being around here. "That's because I'm a loner. A little kitty living on my own. Poor me." he chuckled stopping in front of her after performing a full circle. "I got a question? Do you ever feel caged up? I figure with those rules you might. Being a loner gives you the possibility to do anything you want. Nothing holding you back. You clan cats think you're living the good life? Check out ours." Church smiled

Timberpaw watched the cat walk around her, craning her neck to keep him in her sights. There was something about him that made her feel uneasy, though she couldn't place what it was. Maybe it was just that he was so unfamiliar.
"I am," she responded when he commented on her being a clan cat. He answered her question soon after, and - though she hated to admit it - his response creeped her out even more.
Then he asked if she ever felt caged up, and talked about how being a loner meant doing whatever she might want and inviting her to join him. She frowned, at that. "But everyone needs rules. Otherwise there's nothing there to keep you safe." She didn't want to admit that she had felt caged up sometimes when she was a kit, and likely would again before becoming a full warrior.

Church eyes brightened hearing her point "You know, in a way you are right. But still, its a rush. You can do anything you want. Steal food, invade someones home and take what you want. Kill anyone you want. Its freedom." he stretched his paw out for her to take "You can have all of this. I can even teach you some tricks of the trade." he grinned "Embrace your darker side..."

A tan and white she-cat walked around getting closer to thunderclan territory. She didn't care, she had a little bit of a dark side that could get her out of trouble. The wind blew her way and she smelled something familiar, clan cat and a loner. When she got close enough she spotted Church. I knew i smelt something that smelt horrible She said teasing church. Anyways why are you on clan territory and talking to a clan cat? she asked him.

Church glared behind him, taking his paw away and setting it to the ground. "Grrrr.....Not her again." he sat down his tail thrashing around. "My fur is perfectly handled thank you." He listened to her continue and rolled his eyes in annoyance. "Because I can do what I want. Just figured I could show a clan cat on a trip that could change her sight on things." he glanced down at his outstretched claws and back up to her. "What are you doing here is the question." he demanded.

The she-cat looked at him. I was only teasing. And anyways Handsome I was just in the area and smelled you. she said. She picked up a paw and began cleaning herself. It was nice to go on the clan territory and be able to not get caught. She looked at him and smiled. Kits with him? Maybe? she thought.

He sighed "Yeah kinda figured you just happen to meet me now of all times" Church looked over at Timberpaw "Anyway, that offer still stands clan kitty. Are you up for it?" he presumed asking. He still wondered why this cat was following him. But maybe he'll figure out along the way. Although its not like he had a plausible idea. He stood up flicking his tail "If you're going to join along I suggest your decide now." he announced padding away towards the place where two-legs live.

Timberpaw's heart was beating faster than she thought possible, and not in a good way. This strange cat was terrifying, even moreso with his invitation to join him. She wouldn't take him up on the offer. She couldn't. Even if she wanted to leave her clan, the thought of being with this loner scared her more than any night terror she had dreamed up as a kit. However - as she talked - it dawned on her that she didn't stand a chance of running him off on her own.
What do I do? Please, StarClan, help me!
Another loner - this one a she-cat - approached, and engaged the first in conversation. She watched them for a moment, wondering if this was the help StarClan had sent. With him distracted, she could run back home and get help driving the two loners away.
Only, the tom wasn't distracted long enough for her to escape, and she stuck there listening to the two talk. Then attention was turned back to her and she attempted to look curious rather than frightened as she thought frantically on what to do.
Then he started padding away. Would he notice if she didn't follow? Would he come back after her if she refused? She shivered. She wouldn't put it past a loner to do such a thing, especially after what this particular loner had said.
"I...I guess I can have a look," she decided after what felt to her like ages. She padded after the tom, keeping a bit behind him. Yes...that was the best choice. Agree to go with them and then slip away once they left the territory and their attention was no longer on her. Then she could talk to her leader. He'd know what to do from there.

Church glanced behind himself seeing the apprentice follow "Score one for the loner." he murmured under his breath. He walked along his expression blank "Its simply amazing that a clan kitty would want to get a taste of freedom. Never expected it from a young one too." he acknolwdged. He let his tail drop and drag across the ground. Somehow without even a warning his mind drifted to a day in his past. "One day you're going to be walking around without a care in the world and be slaughtered in an instant. The world is dangerous Church."

Nightowl prowled the boarders alone. He had wanted some time to think to himself. From time to time he would stop and sniff the air making sure there where no trespassers. After making sure it was all clear he would mark the boarder before continuing on his way.
As the breeze shifted and came towards him the scent of cats reached him. He recognized Timberpaw's scent. As well as the scent of two rouges or loners. His fur spiked up and he took off fallowing the scent. He raced jumping over or pushing himself through bushes. At last he spotted the young apprentice. She was fallowing two rouges. He pulled his gums back showing his teeth. Had the cats threatened her? He knew Timberpaw would never fallow them willingly.
Nightowl pushed past the bush and raced across the small clearing before leaping over Timberpaw he let out a yowl as he landed a tail length in front of the apprentice. Who are you? Why have you trespassed on Thunderclan territory? Turning to Timberpaw he looked her up and down she appeared to be with out injury and there was no scent of blood that was good. "Are you ok Timberpaw?"

Church looked over at the new cat that arrived. He rolled his head annoyed that they couldn't just have a pleasant walk for one moment. "Let me guess. Another clan cat. Ugh this is getting out of hand." once again he was asked the same question as a few minutes ago. "Walking clan kitty. Is that a death sentence? Because if so I think you're out of your league." he glanced at the other she-cat, heh, she'd most likely protect him or something. At least he had a back-up plan.
