She lowered her gaze, the doubt slightly disappearing. She looked to him, direct sincereity plastered on her face. She looked unsure, and very out of place in such a situation. "I.. I guess if you're meaning it this time..." She whispered, almost frightened at how this adventure had turned out. She'd never come close to feeling so....so alive and natural with someone. The feline felt out of place in such a situation, for she never had recieved a compliment from any cat before. She truly felt like she was generally falling for Wildstorm, and she never pictured herself doing such a thing in her life. She always pictured herself as the cat that never had a mate or kits because she dedicated herself far too much to her clan, and didn't want to leave them.
Hawkflight smiled, a bit nervously and astonished at his touch.

Wildstorm cleared his throat, feeling a bit uncomfortable, heart hammering in his chest rapidly. It was definitely a different sensation for him, and guessing from the look on his companion's face, new for her too. Seeking to relax her, he gave her a soft nudge, a grin starting to bud on the edge of his lips. "So, now will you do me the pleasure of going for a hunt with me?" he purred lightly, green eyes bright and cheerful, the steadiness yet again entering his gaze and allowing him to stand tall and proud. He wouldn't lie. The prospect of a hunt with this special she-cat was rather exciting, and he bounced from paw to paw anxiously.

Hawkflight nodded, standing tall on her paws. tail swaying calmly. She batted softly at his nose, smiling with the brilliant twinkling of those sunrise colored eyes. A gentle, light laugh escaped through a slight part in her jaws as she looked at him, the bouncing anxiously quite adorable from her perspective. "I suppose I could stray away from the clan for a while longer. Of course I'll hunt with you." The she-cat purred, her shoulders rippling in anticipation of hopefully sinking her claws into something to feed the clan. The thought of it just brightened her features, as if she was glowing with excitement. She beamed before she slowly started to scent the air, praying to Starclan that something was near.

Wildstorm went cross-eyed as he attempted to follow her paw as she batted at him. He gave a mock growl, tail flicking across the length of her muzzle in playful retaliation. At her acceptance, he brightened even more, every hair on his felt buzzing with energy, hot and electric. "I knew you couldn't resist my charm and dashing good looks," he joked, unable to stop himself from teasing her gently. He, too, parted his jaws, a determined look flashing across his face as he sought a way to impress her. The lack of prey was not only frustrating but a bit worrying also, so he was more than a little relieved when a chirping caught his ears. He tilted his head in the direction it came from, a silent gesture for the deputy to go first. It was only polite, after all.
