The cat hadn't interested him enough, so he made a hit and run move. Yet still, the loner wasn't giving up. The black cat stopped suddenly and whipped around, planting his paws firmly on the chain link fence. "You gotta lot of nerve rolling up like this buck." Kalen spread an evil smile across his face. "I would say the same for you, but, I have the upper hand" Zepherd popped out from the side, the loner hissed as the crow landed it's claws on him, pushing him inside the fence where the loner cornered himself because of the two legged's dog coming after him. Kalen poked his head down as the Crow fluttered above him. "Tell you what, I save you, and we forget this entire thing and move on with our lives?" The loner looked up at him with fear and just nodded. The black cat with large fangs smiled as he jumped off the fence and landed on the dogs head, it was only small, and the loner jumped out. As Kalen used his own momentum as the dog came up to snap at him he jumped off and crossed over the fence. Watching the loner ran away, leaving Kalen to chuckle to himself and then turn the other way. "He never had a chance" Kalen said out loud in bird tongue. The crow flew just above him, "Would have helped if you had done something different" Kalen flicked his tail. "I doubt it, his movements were all to the same, he was a wanna be territorial male, those don't really interest me, I need someone more intriguing and interesting, much less, aggravatingly easy to well, aggravate." Kalen laughed as the crow shook his head, the two turned the corner. Yeah, like this wouldn't attract attention. A black cat with purple eyes, long fangs and a crow following him as if they could speak to each other, when in reality, they could. The tom looked to his side as a monster passed him by. He was close to the forest, planning to stop by there soon, unless of course he caught a cat that he liked and would confront. That was his job, after all Starclan forsake him, but he wanted some entertainment for the strangely mysterious tom who could slip in and out of things easily.

Star lept from tree to tree laughing and just having a good old time. At first glance cats might think she an albino raccoon for she had the black and gray mask over her eyes like one as well as black ears and tail tip. She stopped hearing two cats talking. She watched as a cat was pinned by a dog and another cat jump on the dog allowing the other cat get away. "Aww that's no fun you should have let the dog shred the cat. If it can't protect itself than it's not worth saving," She purred as her voice echoed lightly. She than moved on before the Tom that remained could find her. As she fallowed the tom and his crow she listened to the tom talk to it like it could understand it. She let her laughter echo through the trees. "man what a crazy cat. Maybe I'll find another cat to play with."

He smiled and looked up at the she-cat that was there. Of course plenty have thought him to be crazy, it wasn't uncommon, but with his skill level, it was easy to convince them to what sort of cat he was. "Nice day isn't it, not cloudy, all sunny" He meowed loudly turning around as the Crow followed. Zepherd landed on a tree branch just above the she-cat, with a small crow noise. Kalen giggled, Zepherd had said a very bad word, that he would rather not repeat. Well, at least the tom had found some sort of entertainment. Kalen stopped and sat down. Curling his tail around his back legs. "Letting him get eaten by the dog was less entertaining then saving him, after all, I would want to handle the clean up, unless of course the dog was smart enough to eat the cat." Kalen nearly whispered to himself. He was more or less trying to draw the she-cat out, as he sank into the shadows. He appeared on the next sidewalk looking at her with a charming glance of mystery and wonder. His purple eyes and fangs flashed at her, as he flicked his tail and started walking down the sidewalk. Zepherd lifted himself up and tapped the she-cat on the head as he began to follow Kalen above in the air.

Star smiled flirtatiously at the tom when he saw her and batted her eyes. "Let the twolegs clean it up it's not our job to bury the poor sap. I help no one unless it helps me some how in return." Seeing the bird fly up she smiled and licked her lips. "Oh yum lunch." She left up higher to where the bird was but before she reached it he flew off and tapped her head. She slashed at him with claws unleashed. "Why don't you kill the bird and eat it? It would be a good meal. How about I kill it and we share it sound like a good plan to you?"

Star lept from branch to branch until she was on the lowest branch in the tree. "Maybe you'll be fun to play with after all." Grabbing a pine cone in her teeth she set it in front of her paw and kicked it at the tom which hit him in the head. She laughed softly her eyes sparkling with laughter. "I figured a cat like you would have been a bit faster to dodge a puny pine cone."

The crow was actually not sure why Kalen hadn't eaten him, perhaps it was the way he found him after his group had been killed. The Crow wasn't thankful, nor happy, it was a way of life, and the way the birds lived was a hell of a lot different from cats. The Crow landed on the sidewalk next to Kalen, his eyes starring at the she-cat. From head to tail, as he flapped his wings, after the pine-cone was thrown hitting his master on the head. Kalen let the pine cone hit him on the head no less knowing it wasn't a hostile attack. This cat, was interesting none the less. This was going to be fun, and if he wanted to, he could read her entire past, and know who she really was. It wasn't that hard, he had gotten used to the headache's, but it would make him slow for a few days which was when he usually lazed about in his own dark territory. Kalen smiled and turned around, more over jumping as he flicked his tail, opening his mouth to show his vampire like teeth. "I guess so, but I did enjoy jumping on the mutt's head, maybe I should have done that, then let the dog jump on the poor thing. " Kalen turned his head to Zepherd and created a devious smile on his face. "Oh him, you could say I have a special connection, he follows me around and attacks whoever I tell him too. I could eat him, but that's no fun is it. Beside's I know everything about him, I've known him since he was a chick, or you could say." The first thing that Kalen did was use his power on the Crow when they first met, which was when they had gotten into a fight. Kalen had wanted to eat him, but things that intrigued him were just there. "My name's Kalen, Kalen Mackury." Kalen introduced himself with a small bow. Zepherd flapped his wings in protest to Kalen. Just watching the two interact was making him sick. The play things and play toys, they all were fun and games, but they barely got any good deals lately. "I don't like this girl Kalen, she wants to eat me" Kalen laughed a bit, kicking back his left back foot stepping on the Crows foot as he took off to fly above them. Kalen turned around and started down the street, "So lovley lady, why don't we find ourselves some entertainment? See what you got" He started looking at fences, and for any signs of other cats to push against their limits.

Star jumped to another branch keeping her eye on the tom. He was actually very cute. And she loved his eyes they where so different. She loved different. "I guess I can see your point as long as something is fun I guess I could see rescuing an unwanted weakling of a cat. But you, your no weakling I can tell just by looking at you." As the tom told her about the bird she tilted her head to the side. "Hm I should get me a bird like him. and if it annoys me I could just kill it and have it for dinner," she laughed softly.

As he introduced himself she smiled and jumped to the ground. "I'm Star, and don't try to attack me I am very fast and can be back up in those trees before you can say freshkill." Star brushed against him and winked before walking a few feet away. "Depends on what you call fun my friend."

As he came off to the side of her, he listened to her name, and what she said following it. "I wouldn't dream of attacking you darling" Kalen stated as he jumped forward again, swinging his tail in a circular motion, hitting the side of a hidden fence, waking up a dog inside, it came up front and barked at him. Kalen laughed, of course he couldn't see the dog because of the wood, but it was still fun to make the creatures think someone was there. Kalen turned around the star, giving a bit of a smile, before nodding his head to the loner from before that was around the corner, sharing the story with his friends. "How about sabataging someone's story telling moment. That fence there, it's loose and that dog is big, if you loosen the fence, and jump on top of it, the dog can chase them while we watch. Let's see how smart these cats really are." Kalen hoped onto the fence, as Zepherd flew above, watching the group of loners converse. The black cat with purple eyes waited for Star to get on the fence, before clawing at the tip of the fence, the dog busted through the door, and Kalen made sure to keep his balance as the stupid dog tried to dodge a car. It stopped for a quick moment, scenting the air, as it caught the attention of the group and charged for them. Making the cats scatter, one getting caught on the edge of a hole in the fence, because he was too fat. " Hey buddy maybe if you lay off the pellet food you might be able to save your tail!" Kalen yelled as the dog came close, the cat slipped through finally. Disappointing the tom sighed pressed his head against his front paws.

Star purred as she fallowed him, "Hmm ok why the change of heart?" She purred softly as she jumped onto the fence just as Kalen let the dog out. She watched as the dog charged towards the group of cats. "Better run you stupid tom's." She laughed as the scattered. When the one cat cut stuck in the fence she leaned forward excitedly. But when it got through she slumped back. "Darn all the stupid toms got away free." Star jumped from the fence to the tree and scanned the area. But when she spotted the dog a human had a stick with vines attached to it and was taking it away. "Hmm, oh well the twolegs have already caught the stupid mutt." She jumped back down next to Kalen and brushed against him. "Well it was fun while it lasted." Growing hungry she spotted a bird in the tree. Stealthily as if she was born to climb trees she jumped from branch to branch with out making a sound. When she was close enough she jumped and grabbed the bird by the wing and shook it to keep it still enough for her to kill it. Carrying the sparrow back down to the tree she set it next to Kalen. "Let's share," not waiting for him she took the first bite. The flavor of the bird flooded her mouth. Bird had always been her favorite prey animal. Like her they lived in the trees.

It was singing a small lullaby before it died, obviously a female, but Kalen was far off used to the birds, how they were sometimes a lot more oblivious then he thought they'd be for a prey animal. His purple eyes flickered against the mid day sun as he took a bite into the animal. Savoring the blood and juices flowing over his tongue. earlier it wasn't just a change of interest, it was more or less, how she re acted to him, and how she played herself off. Every cat had a secret side, and he was going to find out soon what it was with her. Though, not yet, he didn't want to end up being in pain, and she bolting off to leave. When more or less, he wanted to put her through a few more tests himself. His fangs larger then a usual cat dug into the feathers, before he raised his head to the side as Zepherd clicked his beak and flew a bit ways off to scout. Kalen narrowed his eyes for a quick moment, and turned back to the she-cat. "Let's see where they scattered to, unless you have other ideas on your mind for a bit of good entertainment" His devious look flicked, as he dragged his tail over her face for a moment and jumped onto a tree branch, moving with the same grace as always. He spread out some of the leaves and looked at one of the cats that had ran out, hiding in a small area of fence, probably trying to avoid the dog, that was no longer in the area, the stupid creature had probably started chasing a monster down the thunderpath and had gotten lost, it's poor twolegs would be searching for it tonight. "He may not have proven worthy enough back then, but what about when we tell him his little fat buddy was torn to shreds?" He thought out loud, brain storming all the same.

Star ate her share, once done she flicked her tongue around her muzzle. She than licked her paw a few times and swiped it over her ear. She watched Kalen jump into the tree. At first she thought he was still hungry. Hearing what he said Star jumped up beside Kalen and scanned the area. "I have a few but let's hear yours." To be honest she didn't have any ideas she just wanted to torture something. She loved a good fight. But when Kalen told her his idea her ears perked up. That sounded like fun. "Let's do that. They will never know the truth at least not until they see the stupid fur ball for themselves." Star jumped down and shook her pelt a little. "He might take it out on us since we set it loose. What fun if he did," she laughed softly and headed towards the stupid cat.

He stopped as he raised his arches. "That was some comotion you and your buddies caused, that dog caught one of you and snapped his head clean off. Can't say I cringed a bit watching it myself." Kalen commented, swaying back a bit as he looked at the side walk beside him. It was strange this place, a lot different from his old home in Shadowclan, in which he had no wish or hope to be returning to. That was why, he had an odd respect for clans , other then when he was bored out of his mind, and tried for something. The cat looked at the cement for a quick moment, almost to seem to be in shock. "I....Is that true?" Kalen raised an eyebrow. "Saw it with my own eyes, the dog is probably still eating him now, we'd better be off before it come back" From his side came one of the other loners, jumping with claws extended Kalen inched away as the cat face plantted. "Roland stop it, can't you see he saw one of the others die?" This was turning out to be a bit more fun then he thought. Kalen smiled, "Your friend seems to have a bit of a temper, how about we fix that?" The fat cat's eyes widened, as he looked at star for a moment flicking his tail to say that she could have the fat one. The lean gray one jumped at the cat, in which he ducked came up with his large vampire fangs and dug them into his back. The tom yowled in pain as Kalen pulled and tore at the flesh in the back and threw him to the bloody pavement. Kalen stepped up, and nodded his head towards himself. He couldn't give up that easily, it wouldn't be any fun, the fighting was the best part. The gray tom got up and charged blindly, dizzy from the loss of blood obviously, as he jumped forward Kalen head butted him, the tom falling backwards Kalen jumped for his jugular, snapping the windpipe instead with his large fangs, and watched the tom fall and twitch a few times before falling still with one breath. "You, do not interest me" Kalen stated, "Zepherd, here's your dinner" He spoke in bird tongue making strange clicking noises with his throat, as the Crow flew in, he began to peck at the remains. Another thing he was good for, clean up, and it kept the pet fed none the less. As he turned to see weather or not Star was done with her fight.

Star purred, "Yes the poor cat didn't know what hit him. He was dead before he could even cry out." When the fat tom jumped over the fence she rolled her eyes. "This is going to be fun. Come on fatty, lets dance." She lept at the fat tom at the same time as Kalen. But instead of jumping at him and slicing at him with claws she jumped behind him and bit down on his back leg until she felt bone than bit even harder hearing the bone snap. She heard the tom yowled in pain. Turning he swiped at her just missing her muzzle. She jumped back than swiped her claw over his muzzle sending blood splattering. As he spun around she dove under his and shredded his stomach with all four claws before slipping out from under him and jumping on his back. She pushed the fat tom down and sank her teeth into the back of his neck. But before she could get a could grip he rolled squishing her under him. when he stood over her she smiled. "Nice move fatty," teeth flashing she sank them in his throat making him jump. she slipped out from under him and slashed her claws over his next. While he was distracted she sank her claws into his throat and ripped them down his chest. In seconds the tom lay dead at her feet and his blood dyed her paws red. Turning to hr partner she smiled, "Well that was fun."

Not ever since he had been a phantom in the days of the loners, after his family had died, maybe, it was time to start a new one. The black tom's purple eyes flickered, as he came forward a little bit. " I have something for you" He whispered in her ear. Flicking his tail he prepared himself and moved forward, giving her a lick on the shoulder as he concentrated his energy on her brain, that was when it started and an overloading force over came him, feeling him with feelings that were new, and old more or less. Her mothers name was moon, who had forced her to kill even as a three moon old kit. She had grown up on the fun of killing, and even gave her mother her last wish as to the fox that they had encountered, it was a lot shorter then his younger past, but simple in the same, just as he had been rejected and neglected to know who he was today. Kalen's vision blurred as the events of every day, every night unfolded into his mind, cramming among the other pasts, he almost he had felt had lived on his own. After it was over, he felt like a current throwing him back up. As he stepped back, he felt the effects starting to slip past him. He turned around shaking his head a bit to try and avoid losing consciousness. " I'm starting a group, if you want to join, your welcome to. They do basically this, test cats, if they don't interest us we leave them be to stay out of trouble, or kill them. I'd like you to be the second leader, if you know what I mean." Kalen hinted turning to her and giving a bit of a smirk, he lost his balance a bit, but kept himself afloat or try, he knew what kind of cat she was now, and he was happy with the results, she was worth the reading.

Star's eyes sparkled as Kalen said he had something for her. When he licked her shoulder she purred softly. But something strange happen. It was like he became frozen in place by some kind of force. "Kalen... Kalen are you ok?" He didn't seem to hear her she was growing worried about him. It was amazing how quickly she had falling for this tom. She had never cared about anyone but her mother before. Finally after what felt like forever he snapped out of his trance. But he seemed week. She pressed her shoulder up against him trying to help him keep his balance. "Wh....What just happened? Are you ok?" Just as she finished he began to speak.

" I'm starting a group, if you want to join, your welcome to. They do basically this, test cats, if they don't interest us we leave them be to stay out of trouble, or kill them. I'd like you to be the second leader, if you know what I mean."

Star purred and licked Kalen's ear. "Yes I know what you mean and I would love to. It sounds like fun, especially if it means I get to stay with you."

Of course, she wouldn't know that until he blurted something out on accident sometime in his sleep, that was only from some of the happy pasts though and it didn't happen often. Kalen sat, even though it made him unbalanced. He looked at her, how did he come to meet such an amazing creature, it was the last thing he thought before collapsing on the concrete. Zepherd scoffing at him as he hoped near him. Zepherd knew that the she-cat wouldn't understand his speech, with cat trachea still on his beak he tried to shake it off. "Well, he did it again" he cawed in bird tongue. As he pecked at the ground, he pointed his foot to Kalen, and then to the clan territory, not specifically, but around there, where the loner lived.
