Characters: Icepetal and Fogflight Clans involved: ThunderClan and RiverClan Situation: When they were apprentices, a RiverClan patrol ambushed a border patrol they were on. This is a telling of those events. She was going to kill him. No, Icepaw meant it this time, she was seriously going to kill Fogpaw. This was supposed to be a border patrol, something to be taken seriously, and that fluff-brained idiot brother of hers was treating it like an... an... a casual outing through the forest! There he was, belting out a song that he'd heard a kittypet sing the other day, dancing along, and not even caring that he was not only signaling every RiverClan cat in the area to their position, but he was scaring off the prey too!
Fogpaw did a fancy little jig that put his tail one whisker-length, one and a screech sounded on the other side of the border. "TRESPASSER!" shouted a cat. A huge tom, black in pelt and eyes burning blue fire, ran straight for Fogpaw.
Fogpaw danced again out of the way and laughed at the RiverClan cat. "Oh come on, Crowwhisker! It was only my tail, and that can hardly steal prey or territory. Just chill, no one is looking for a fight today!" Icepaw stared, wide-eyed, at her brother. Did he... Did he just tell Crowwhisker, one of the most aggressive cats of all four Clans, to chill? He did, didn't he?! Yup, Icepaw was seriously going to kill him.
A patrol of RiverClan cats followed after Crowwhisker. The one in the leader, a pretty gray and white tabby she-cat, stared at Fogpaw in hostility. This was Fangpaw, Crowwhisker's apprentice, and she was nearly as hostile as her mentor. "Back off, kittypet lover! This is our territory, and you aren't going to steal one paw step!"
Icepaw stepped forward to try and help the siutation. Where in StarClan's name were the other patrol members?! "Calm down, it was an accident! He didn't mean to cross the border, by however much he may have!"
But any peace talks that could have been attempted were useless. Fangpaw, after a nod from Crowwhisker, launched herself in the air at Fogpaw. The light gray tom rose up to meet her, and together they tumbled to the earth. Crowwhisker and the other two cats of the patrol, a tortoiseshell she-cat named Flamepool and a ginger tom named Owlheart, advanced on Icepaw.
Icepaw's chest heaved with terror. It was a terrifying sight to behold, and Crowwhisker seemed to know just how afraid she was. His lips curled over his teeth in sadistic glee at her fear. Crowwhisker lunged for her throat, but a caterwaul from nearby heralded the arrival of the rest of the patrol. A ginger tabby shape collided with Crowwhisker, and they rolled together while hissing and clawing at each other.
Flamepool and Owlheart exchanged looks and split up. Flamepool went towards the last member of the patrol while Owlheart collided with Icepaw. Icepaw yowled in shock and pain when his claws ripped into her pelt, and she screeched while driving her teeth into his shoulders. Owlheart growled and bashed her head with a paw. Icepaw hissed as his claws tore at her ear, and she kicked him away with her back paws.
A fearsome yowling made her head jerk around, and her eyes widened at the sight of more RiverClan cats, charging straight toward their battle. Dimly, Icepaw realized that her legs were shaking. There was no way they could win, not without some very heavy injuries. With a quick prayer to StarClan, Icepaw steadied her muscles and hissed in defiance at the oncoming wave of fangs and claws.
She lost herself, somehow, in the whirling and twirling and blood-pounding horror that is battle. She lost count of how many opponents she faced, of how many cuts and slices and bruises she accumulated. She didn't even hear when the nearby hunting patrol heard the commotion and came hurdling to the rescue.
Icepaw finally came back to herself when she realized that three cats at once were advancing on her. One was Crowwhisker. Despite herself, she felt a dim glow of pleasure when she saw him limping. Even if they all went to StarClan today, she'd be glad to know that they at least gave them a run for their fish. The other two she only vaguely recognized. The black and white tom was Crowwhisker's brother, named Eaglestrike. The third one was smaller, about her age, and was brown and black. She realized that this was Spiderpaw. Was he Eaglestrike's apprentice? Or something else? She couldn't remember much passed the pain she felt all over her body.
She met Spiderpaw's eyes, and saw the same pain and fear that she was feeling. Icepaw's legs were shaking again, trembling with the strain of holding up her weight. Crowwhisker chuckled menacingly. "Pretty little she-cat has no one to save her now... Everyone else is too preoccupied... But, you know what, I've had my fill of ThunderClan blood for the day. What about you, Eaglestrike?"
Eaglestrike gave a smile wide enough to show his blood-stained teeth. "Me too, brother. Any more and I may actually get sick." They cackled together, making both apprentices shrink in fear. Eaglestrike nudged Spiderpaw forward. "Come on, baby brother! You've hardly got any ThunderClan blood on you. I think I'll give you the honor of spilling hers."
Spiderpaw gave him a wide-eyed stare and swiftly looked back and forth between the two warriors. "M-me? But... But I... I'm not a fighter! You know I don't like spilling unnecessary blood!"
Icepaw watched as Crowwhisker's eyes darkened. She felt a twinge of worry for the other apprentice when she saw Crowwhisker's claws pierce the ground. "Unnecessary? You call defending our territory unnecessary?" Eaglestrike hissed at Spiderpaw, and together the two warriors roughly shoved their baby brother towards Icepaw. "You're young, Spiderpaw. I'll forgive your intolerance for now, on the condition that you kill her."
Icepaw yelped in shock and backed further away from the trio of RiverClan cats. Even Eaglestrike looked a bit uneasy, though he said nothing to contradict what Crowwhisker said. Spiderpaw slowly padded towards Icepaw, and that's when her legs finally gave out. She looked up blearily at Spiderpaw as he stood over her. They met eyes again, and she tried to convey the plea for mercy. She didn't want to die. Not only did she not want to die, she didn't want to die at the paws of someone so innocent.
A screech made all four of them whip their heads around. Fogpaw, drenched in blood of both his own Clan and RiverClan's, charged at the three with his lips drawn back. "LEAVE HER ALONE, YOU COWARDS!" he snarled, falling on the two warriors with a vengeance. Spiderpaw looked back down to Icepaw with relief in his eyes and ran away.
Someone in RiverClan called the retreat then, and slowly the battlefield emptied out. Icepaw saw her brother see off both Crowwhisker and Eaglestrike with a screech. Just as they passed the border, Fogpaw collapsed. Icepaw tried to rise to her paws, but she couldn't and fell down again. She dragged herself, through mud and blood and churned up earth, to her brother's side. "Fogpaw..." she breathed midst the cheering of her Clanmates. She collapsed again at his side and stretched out a paw towards him. Then everything faded to black, and Icepaw blacked out.

Rainy green-leag day in ThunderClan Scenarior:CrimsonClan attacks Skystar loses a life, his daughter dies Skystar becomes emo
Does time really heal all wounds? Can time really heal a clan that had become so broken? The gray tom's eyes scanned the camp clearing. Clan life went on even though lives have been lost. ThunderClan's previous noble deputy Tigerflight had passed the previous night. Skystar blinked thinking about the twisted expression he saw as the black and orange tabby flailed his paws floating down the river.
The gray tom shuddered. What was the cost of that one toms life? Risking his own to save another from RiverClan? So RiverClan gains and ThunderClan loses? He found his claws digging into the earth as he felt himself become enraged. He felt a tail touch his shoulder. His blue eyes met with his new deputy's."Tigerflight became my best friend...Stormwind. Like Shadeclaw he went to Starclan in the wrong way..." he paused. He removed his gaze from Stormwind fighting an inner battle with himself.
Skystar looked at Brookpaw, Snowpaw, Patchpaw, and Stormpaw. All were great apprentices. His kits...his and snowberry's. Or so the clan thought. He looked up and his gaze crossed Frostbite. Her eyes were soft and he noticed how much she must have longed to tell them they were hers. Skystar blinked slowly and shook his head. His clan...what did he do wrong? His clan was hurt from losing Crimsonstar, then the clan's medicine cat had kits, shortly after a loyal deputy dies?
