Cinder decided to go wandering by herself, like she often did. This time she ended up by the lake. She didn't exactly know why, but it was where her feet decided to take her, so she didn't object. She just let her feet take her.
She had been laying out in the sun for quite some time when her stomach decided to yell at her. Deciding it was time to find something to eat she got up and carefully wandered around the lake. Making sure not to make too much noise in the process. It wouldn't be conducive behavior for hunting.
Finding nothing at first, she wandered farther away from the lake, but not too far. Finding a group of birds in a small opening in the long grass, Cinder crouched down, preparing to attack.

Viperstar had no idea why she decided to go all the way out to the lake to get a drink of water but she did. After awhile she finally made it close to the lake but stopped as soon as she noticed another cat nearby stalking a few birds. Feeling content with the scene, she moved her way closer to the birds and the cat, careful to not startle any of them, and watched patiently.

Just as Cinder was about to attack, she saw a cat out of the corner of her eye. It hadn't bothered the birds and the cat had stopped. Cinder got back in her hunting mode, deciding to ignore the cat. She pounced on the bird that had been closest to her. Effectively capturing in. Lowering her mouth to the birds neck, Cinder snapped it. Killing the bird in one swift movement.
It wasn't the best meal Cinder could think of, but it was the one she was going with. She didn't have many options, it was just this particular type of bird didn't taste too well to her. But she would suck it up. Her stomach wouldn't stop screaming at her if she didn't.
Looking up after making sure the bird was dead, she saw that the cat was Viperstar. Smiling a tad, but barely one that could be seen; Cinder adressed her. "Enjoy the show?"

"Yes I did." Viperstar replied with a slight chuckle "And you did a good job. Your Captain taught you well!"
The black and grey pelted leader sneaked closer to the corporal of VirusClan with a soft purr. She wondered what Cinder was doing so far away from home. Not too many cats liked to leave the Virusclan territories unless Mongoose made them.
"What brings you all the way over here Cinder?" Snakey asked, drawing a large paw up to her ear "And are you sure you want just that for dinner? I can get you something from Shadowclan territory if you're really hungry."

Cinder smirked, "I suppose my captain did teach me well." Cinder turned back to her bird for a second and began to de-feather it so she could eat it. No matter how bad the meat smelled to her. It was food and that was all she cared about.
"I just decided to get a little change of scenery. A change." It wasn't a lie. Sometimes Cinder needed a break. She had been so used to living on her own for an entire year that she sometimes didn't feel like she fit in with the rest of the Virus Clan. But she was there.
"No need. This will do. It's food." Cinder almost thought about telling Viperstar to get her something, but she didn't need it. She had killed this, and she was going to eat it, whether she enjoyed it or not.
