Frostkit awoke with a yawn after a dream involving single-pawedly saving the clan from a badger attack - likely the result of last night's many playing sessions. She stretched clumsily and looked around, trying to figure out what she wanted to do. She wasn't hungry, so she didn't want to eat. She just stopped sleeping, so that was out. She was far too young for hunting and fighting and didn't know how to do either, anyway - as evidenced the night before when she tried and failed to kill an injured beetle. She could practice hunting, but that required adult supervision, which made everything not as fun...
Frostkit considered the leftover options: play, play, or - just for variety - play. It seemed the young kit figured out what she wanted to do. But what was there to play with?
As she crawled out of the nursery, a tail swished nearby, catching her attention. As she stared at it, it stopped being a tail and - suddenly - there was an odd fur-snake near the nursery. Well, she couldn't have that! Summoning up the courage of a thousand lions, she bravely pounced, saving her clanmates from the horrible beast!

Crimsonleaf had just gotten back from a walk around the territory. It was nice til the apprentices came and had to ruin it. She decided to lay down by a log. It wasn't far from the nursery but she knew that those kits wouldn't bother her and if they did, then they be in trouble. When she went to close her eyes, they opened in a flash. Something was attacking her tail! She got up and looked at frostkit. What do you think your doing to my tail? Do not touch my tail or i'll have you for a snack she growled..

A handsome younge tom walked into camp with a piece of prey in his mouth. It was the only thing he could find. He put the prey in the fresh-kill pile and then looked around. Warriors doing their duties, Apprentices being trained and kits misbehaving. He looked over at frostkit and saw that the kit was going to attack a tail. He looked carefully to see that it was Crimsonleaf's tail. But it was to late, he saw it but didn't move. He walked over to frostkit, Don't worry frostkit, she didn't mean it. he said to the kit.

Frostkit landed - though clumsily - on the tail, but it swished out from under her and then out of her reach before she could do much more than land on it. She stared at it until the eyes of he attached cat fell on her. Frostkit's own eyes grew wide a the threat and she hunched down with a squeak, making herself as small as possible, as if that would truly hide her.
Then a tom approached, and her gaze drifted to him. He assured her the she-cat didn't mean what she said, but she still knew she had been bad. With the tom there, she didn't feel as afraid of the other cat, so she lifted into a sitting position, keeping her head bowed. "Sorry..."
