Cat's Name Timberpaw (Timberleaf) Cat's Age 6 moons Cat's Gender She-cat Cat's clan Thunder Clan Cat's Position Apprentice Cat's Short Description A long-furred fawn and white tabby she-cat with green eyes. Cat's Appearance Timberpaw has a thick frame that promises she'll grow into one of the largest she-cats in the clan. Her long pelt is primarily a light fawn brown with slightly darker tabby markings, though her face, inner ear fur tufts, underside, and front toes are white. Her back legs also sport white in the form of sock markings stopping around the ankle joints. Her fur is usually a bit messy (who has time to groom when there's playing to be done?), but she's usually good about keeping it from getting very tangled. Her paws are large and clumsy, a flaw she insists will go away once she starts training. Her tail is long and bushy, and is her proudest physical feature. Her large eyes are a milky green color.
Cat's personality One of two surviving kits from her mother's first birth, Timberpaw has been doted on and protected up until now. For this reason, she can be a bit naive and over-trusting at times. Well...often, actually. She views everyone in her clan as a close friend and treats them as such, approaching and interacting with anyone she happens to see at the time whether they want her around or not. She's rather gullible and eager to please, making her ridiculously easy to manipulate. She sees only the best in people because it doesn't occur to her that anyone would be anything less than good. She's not unintelligent, as she does learn new lessons quick enough, but she has a lot to learn about the world and it's dark side.
Timberpaw is a sweet, caring cat and she tries so hard to be gentle, but she's clumsy and doesn't know her own strength. She's injured her sister and herself multiple times, usually while playing. Their wounds were never serious, but many cats believe it's only a matter of time.
Cat's History Timberpaw was one of three kits born to a young queen named Foxtail. It was a difficult birth that nearly took all their lives, but the medicine cat was able to save the queen and her two daughters. Her son - Oakkit - was buried by her mate - Brokenfang - and both parents grieved together even as they cared for the surviving kits - Rootkit ad Timberkit.
It was a rough start, but Rootkit and Timberkit thrived under their mother's care and it wasn't long before they were eating solid food and playing, constantly getting underpaw of the warriors and apprentices. As they grew, they watched their denmates become apprentices litter by litter. And then, finally, it was their turn.
That brings us to the present day, with a newly-apprenticed Timberpaw who eagerly awaits training and everything else the wide world has in store for her.
Comments/Other She's a Maine Coon (or enough of one to look the part, as clan cats are likely to be mutts). Hope that's okay.
