Cat's Appearance Sunleaf is a short-furred she-cat, her fur a mixture of ginger tabby and white. She has amber eyes and a long, lithe body. Generally, her fur is ruffled and dirty, although she's not an unattractive she-cat. She has a scar on her cheek and shoulder.
Cat's personality Sunleaf is a bit of a tomboy. She's loud and in charge and opinionated. She has a fiery temper and is fiercely protective of her friends and younger cats. Despite her roughness, she is perfectly sweet and motherly to kits, though she hides it best she can. She's always up for a scuffle in the dirt or a race and is competitive and determined. She believes you can get through anything if you try hard enough and is generally pretty cheerful.
Cat's History Brambleshade and Sunleaf were born to Tigerleap and Brackenpool. Brackenpool always thought Brambleshade was the most handsome little tom in the world and would coo over him and spoil him rotten. This, and tales of his father's former womanizing tendencies, helped shape him into the cat he was. Hearing those stories and seeing how, for lack of a better word, whipped his father was combined with his mother's sugary sweet, flowers and rainbows, ditzy personality gave him a rather narrow-minded view of she-cats, minus his dear sister. He grew to think their place was in the nursery and that they were all easy to manipulate.

Sunleaf, on the other hand, was also annoyed by her parents but not in the same way that Brambleshade was. While he was over-loved, she was underloved. She yearned for attention and thought her mother had bees for brains. She quickly became a tomboy, out of rebellion, jealousy, and a certain longing to belong. Her mother chided her and was horrified, but Sunleaf merely continued to roll in the mud and wrestle with the boys. Secretly she was hurt by some of her mother's rather mean comments and still is, but she doesn't let it show. Her father continues to pretend to be blissfully unaware.

The two siblings grew close due to a distinct dislike of their parents and a strong sympathy for the situation that the other was placed in. Brambleshade fit in too much and Sunleaf not enough. But around each other, at least they could be themselves. Unfortunately, Brambleshade fell off the gorge in a battle against WindClan. She has a sharp dislike for them for this reason.
