Cat's Appearance Knightstar is of average size and more or less average build, though she's leaning a bit toward muscular. Her pelt is short and bright - primarily orange on her top and white on her face, legs, and underside. She has other white markings besides her underside - a large white spot on her back, a tiny white spot just behind the larger spot and nearer the tail, and the left ear tip - and an orange spot on the left side of her muzzle. Her whiskers are long and white. Her eyes are a yellow-tinted green color.
Cat's personality Knightblaze is a little on the independent side. She loves her clan and she enjoys spending time with the cats she loves, but she also likes having time to herself and will often wander through the territory alone just so she can have some time to dedicate solely to her thoughts. She's also brave and will often be the first to volunteer to do something potentially dangerous. She has a protective streak and would rather herself be harmed than a clanmate, particularly a vulnerable clanmate. Having said that, she has a tendency toward violence and is quick to start a battle if she feels the need.
Cat's History Knightblaze's story starts before she was even born. Her mother was a clan cat and Nightstar's sister. She ran away from the clan for reasons she would never tell her kits and ended up becoming a kittypet named Cleo. The twolegs that captured her were on holiday at the time and took her to their home once the vacation was over. This put her near SkyClan territory.

Life for the she-cat went on as normal. She found a random tom and got pregnant, giving birth to five kits two moons later. The twoleg couple let their teenage son name the kits, and so he named them after character classes in his favorite video game: Mage, Ranger, Monk, Bard, and - finally - Knight. Knight and her siblings grew up comfortably and well-fed in the twoleg nest, until they were around two moons. At that point, twolegs began visiting the nest and taking Knight's siblings. Bard and Monk were taken together, with Ranger taken the same day. A couple days later it was Mage's turn. No one ever came to take Knight away, so the twolegs decided to keep her and her mother.

Knight bonded with the twoleg boy as three more moons went by, and the two spent much time playing and taking trips to the garden, where he watched her explore outside. Life was easy and happy and it felt as though things would never change.

Except that they did.

The boy left when she was five moons old, and he took nearly half the stuff in his room with him. Knight waited every day for him to return. Then a week went by. Then two.

He never showed up again.

Knight was upset by this. She felt betrayed. Weren't they friends? Didn't he want her with him? She became more and more depressed and grew to hate her life. Cleo couldn't stand to see her kit like this, so she took her and ran away. There was no time for depression in the life of a loner, because survival took all their energy. Fortunately, she still remembered bits and pieces of her life in the clan, and was able to call on that knowledge to keep them alive.

Then they encountered SkyClan. Cleo fought with a member of the patrol they had walked into, and was able to hold her own until one of the other cats broke the fighters apart. Cleo had sufficiently impressed the clan cats and they accepted her and her daughter into the clan.

Life was more or less uneventful from that point on. Knight was apprenticed and made into a warrior six moons later. She requested to keep her kittypet name as a prefix because she liked the sound of it, so she received the name Knightblaze - both as a request from her mother in remembrance of her brother Nightblaze and from her bravery and over-eagerness to jump into a fight. She's adapted well to clan life and has all but forgotten the twoleg that had caused her so much pain. Cleo eventually went back to her twolegs, knowing that her daughter was happy again. Knightblaze still resides in SkyClan and is a full-time, active warrior.
