Rabbitfur finished giving his brown ticked pelt a few licks and got to his paws. The young tom had woken up just as the soon was rising, excited for his plans for the day. He had every intention of taking is apprentice for this first training session and was probably just as eager as the younger tom was going to be. Padding forward, he popped his head into the apprentice's den. "Graypaw?" He called cheerfully.

Graypaw was having an interesting dream; it was about a older she-cat who smelt of sun shine and was very warm. There was another body beside him and just as he was about to see the other cat. All Graypaw saw, was a pelt of sivler with gray tabby stripes. Just than Graypaw heard his name being called, he looked around the Apprentice den until Rabbitfur was in his eyes view. The young tom stood up and walked over to the older tom slowly "Yes....Rabbitfur?" He asked looking at the older tom questioningly. Graypaw hadn't been told who his mentor was going to be and was yet to learn or meet them.

Rabbitfur felt a flash of pity for his apprentice. After all, no one really knew much about him, least of all himself. He knew how it was coming into a clan, knowing nobody, feeling like an outsider. "I think today's the perfect day to teach you a thing or two," he mewed cheerfully. "Not to mention show you all the nooks and crannys of this place." He began leading the way out, tail held high.

Graypaw looked at Rabbitfur and gave a small smile. It turns out that the older tom was going to be his mentor. He slowly walked after the older warrior and followed him to where ever they would be going today. Graypaw's green eyes looked around camp as he had just woken up. Graypaw didn't know if he should eat something before leaving or hunt for his own meal. Looking at the fresh kill pale and than looking at Rabbitfur questioningly. Graypaw didn't want to make anyone angry for eating prey someone else caught.
