Skystar padded up to his little log where he could be making his clan announcements. Rockpaw, Hazelpaw, and Snowpaw were all without mentors. He flicked his tail back and forth and scanned the clearing for free warriors. There was Stormleaf who he would probably ask to mentor Hazelpaw. The personalities worked with each other. He would personally take on a second apprentice he wanted to mentor Rockpaw. He wanted to keep a close eye on him. That left Snowpaw He knew Pyropaw and Timberpaw would both be warriors within the next four moons. They would be able to mentor apprentices, then there wouldn't be such a shortage of warriors.
"All cats old enough to catch their own prey please gather here for a clan meeting." Skystar flicked his tail and waited for cats to gather."As you know ThunderClan is lacking warriors. This does not mean apprentices will be made into warriors early. Instead, we will be giving our current warriors more than one apprentice. I know it's hard to train two cats, but it must be done. However, Stormleaf, you are ready for your first apprentice. I want you to mentor Hazelpaw. Please pass down your fierce ability in battle to this apprentice. Rockpaw, I know I already have an apprentice Timberpaw, but I would like to be your mentor. That leaves Snowpaw, Nightowl, you are doing such wonderful training with Brookpaw that she is turning into a fine warrior, I want you to do the same with Snowpaw. Sagepaw, your mentor will be Cluodestripe.
