Blood-dancer ran across the moor's, hot on the tail of a rabbit. just as she was about to pounce it dove into a hole making Blood-dancer hit the ground instead. “Rats!” she cursed, pacing in front of the hole. That’s the second rabbit I’ve lost today. What’s wrong with me? she thought. Sighing she shook herself. Maybe a few minutes to recollect her thoughts were in order.
Making her way towards a field of flowers she was fond of lying in she laid down, folding her paws in front of her. Taking a few deeps breaths she tried to clear her mind. “StarClan help me.” she meowed, shaking her head. Lately her mind just wasn’t where it should be, and her sleeps were haunted with blurry images of something, though she was never sure what. Lost in thought she didn’t realize eyes were watching her a few tail lengths away.

Rabbitfur trotted forward, brown ticked fur smooth to his body despite the harsh winds. His body was laid almost flat to the ground in a crouch as he creeped across the smooth moorland. His yellow eyes narrowed, zeroing in on the rabbit in front of him. However, just as he was about to pounce, the wind shifted directions, and the creature darted. He chased after it hopelessly until it fled into its hole. He sighed, frustrated for a moment before pausing to scent the air to see who disturbed it.
Catching one of his clanmate's scents, he padded towards it curiously. His eyes found the young she-cat just as she spoke. He stood there for a couple heartbeats, debating whether to leave her be, but it simply wasn't in his nature. So, instead, he walked forward with friendly yellow eyes. "Hello there," he purred cheerily.

Blood-dancer’s eyes were focused on the skies. Soft white clouds passed over the blue-tinted sky and a soft breeze whispered their way through the moors. She smiled. “Hello there.” A voice startled Blood-dancer out of her thoughts and she stood abruptly, practically falling over. Ears hot with embarrassment, she closed her eyes for a moment before meeting yellow ones. “Oh. Hello Rabbitfur. Sorry, I’m a bit out of it today.” She murmured, flicking her tail through the air.
Sighing she sat back down and shook herself, her black and white fur standing out among the grass like a beacon. Absentmindedly she swapped a paw over her face and then gave Rabbitfur a friendly smile. “So, what brings you out here? I doubt it’s my good looks.” She chuckled, winking at him. The scent of rabbit floated through her nostrils, but with her track record today she let it slide and ignored it.
