a grey she-cat sat outside the warriors den cleaning herself. She looked around and saw that nightstar was in his den. hmph he is going to be bring this clan down if he brings in more loners she thought. She once tried to be with him but he wasn't interested in her. Like what did he not see in her?! She was perfect. She had to stop thinking about it. It was making her mad. Her claws were unsheathed and digging into the ground. She looked and saw the deputy, pinespot. handsome she thought. The only thing skyfeather was out for was a mate and lots of kits.

Pinespot was coming back from a hunt and had a good sized Mouse in his jaws along with two birds. He dropped off the two birds and turned to take the nice sized mouse to the nursery for the queens to share. Just than he saw that Heatherpetal was out side the nursery, Pinespot dropped the mouse to her paws "How are the kits Heatherpetal." He asked with a smile at his sister. The bright eyed queen smiled at her brother "there fine brother and thank you for the mouse." She said smiling again. Heatherpetal licked his cheek before picking up the mouse and heading back in to the nursery to share it with the other queens. Pinespot sighed before leaving and going back to the fresh kill pale. Pinespot found a nice rabbit and went over to eat beside Skyfeather who was cleaning herself near the warriors den. Slowly starting to eat and watch what was happening around camp. After downing a bite "How is your day going on Skyfeather." He asked while looking around camp. He spotted young Graypaw and frown thinking it was sad the poor tom didn't even remember the name he was born with. Sighing Pinespot continued to eat and wait for Skyfeather's answer to his question.

When Pinespot sat next to her, she smiled. She sheathed her claws and looked at the deputy.Well my day was going good until Nightstar decided to bring another cat into this clan! I mean What if he could be a spy for a different clan? And that remembering thing, Oh please he could be faking it. She ranted. She was so mad that she was ready to become a rouge or a loner. But the only thing was stopping her, Pinespot. He was clan deputy and that is what she wanted.

Pinespot looked at the young tom who has recently become a part of WindClan. The Deputy sighed at what Skyfeather was saying "I think he should be given a chance....Did you see all those scar's on the kit and how skinny he was coming in the camp with Nightstar." He said standing up to full height. Pinespot was a well muscled tom from his moons as a warrior and yet he was gental with all cats. Looking at Skyfeather with his different colored eyes "I see a young tom over there who was in a battle and most likely lost to his clan who must think his dead....I'm not saying take in every cat who looks helpless or who asks for help....But when you see some who looked like him it makes you think for a moment before turning your back on them." He said with a wise tone. Pinespot was very wise for his age and he believes that was why Nightstar picked him for Deputy. Pinespot walked away to leave camp to patrol the borders "Come with me, I'm going on a short border patrol..so your coming with me Skyfeather." He said calmly.

Skyfeather listen to what the deputy said and almost snapped. but then thinking about it she nodded. Yeah i guess so she said. He was right but was Nightstar going to bring in all the helpless cats out there that he saw? She pushed the thought away and looked at Pinespot. Yeah of course i will. Your the deputy she said with a purr. It had been a long time since someone had made her purr.

Pinespot smiled at the she-cat and was happy to see that his clan mate understood. He hoped that the young she-cat would give young Graypaw a chance to become friends with Skyfeather. The tom after all his been throw deserved friendship in some form. Looking at the nursery before leaving, Pinespot saw Heatherpetal noddded to him. It was their own little way of telling each other to be careful when out of camp and so he nodded back to the queen who went back in to the nursery to get her kits under contorl. Pinespot chucked as he shoke his head side to side and left throw the camp enterance. Pinespot headed in the direction of the RiverClan border and soon turned to see if Skyfeather followed "I wondering some times, if Graypaw had famliy who is worried sick about him....But if his been missing since the age of eight moons....it must be they think his dead and haven't even tried to look." He said with a frown.
