Cat's Appearance She has a somewhat shorter legs and tail and a long body. She has an unusual fur color, gold. Not like bright gold, but the color of Golden Retriever fur. There are white markings on her underbelly, tail tip and front paws. She has black tufts on the tip of her ears. Her fur is on the longer side, but not long enough to get in her way. Her whiskers are bright white and her claws are pitch black. When she was born, she was considered a beautiful rarity and named Treasure. When she opened her eyes they changed her name to Pyrite, Fools Gold. Why? Because her eyes are even darker than her claws, empty black hollows of shadow. Or you could simply call them black.
Cat's personality She is a tough, living on the edge, tomboy kind of cat. She is willing to get her paws dirty and claws bloody. She isn't affected by flattery and unnecessary compliments. She knows she's beautiful, which makes her vain and the only compliments she likes are ones on her fighting skills. She is sarcastic, witty and her tongue is nearly as sharp as her claws.
Cat's History Pyrite was born to a snow white kittypet she-cat and a ginger loner tom named Magnolia and Crash. All her siblings were ginger or white, but she was different. She was gold and named Treasure. Her mother doted on her. But when her eyes changed color, her mother was horrified and changed her named to Pyrite, meaning Fools Gold. Her siblings picked on her and her father took her under his wing. When old enough, Pyrite and Crash left the rest of the family to be loners.
When Pyrite was about 8 moons old, her father mated with another loner and she now had a new half sibling. A little black she-cat named Peridot. Crash taught them to fight and hunt, but sadly couldn't save himself. Crash was killed in an incident with a couple of big, strong rogues.
Peridot and Pyrite have stuck together since.
