Cat's Appearance
Hawkflight earned the prefix 'hawk' as a kit mainly for the fact that her claws always seem to stay a little unsheathed, which isn't her fault at all. The young feline, apart from that, is a gorgeous calico she-cat with stunning orange-gold eyes that just happen to be littered with flecks of bright green and yellow, as if her eyes were the sunrise itself. Hawkflight received the suffix 'flight' for how quick she just so happens to be on her paws, and how well-built she is from all her hard days of training with her mentor and other apprentices. Yes, she is muscular, but not unattractively so. Her ears, adorned with tiny tufts of snow-white, downy fur, sit a little taller on her head than that of normality, but that only adds to her features.
Cat's personality "Being a deputy isn't all that it's cut out to be. Some show that it's a simple measure, with golden pathways to eternal happiness. But that is not so, for that is far from the simple truth. Being the second-in-command to our wonderful leader is... difficult, to say the least. You have to enforce the rules. You have to seem like the 'bad guy' when it comes to throwing your clan-mates into punishments for their wrong-doings. But that doesn't faze me, not one single bit. I grew up believing I would make something of myself, and here I am. Deputy. But that just doesn't even cover the things you have to do for your clan. No one would really understand the position unless it was given to them. And even then, some only begin to realize the hardships you have to face to keep your clan in order when the leader isn't present."
Confident Hawkflight is far from shy, or 'the recluse' of that of her fellow Skyclan mates. To boil it down, she's a confident she-cat that isn't afraid to give her direct opinion of something, even if it is unwelcomed. She's a hard-boiled feline that rarely ever takes no for an answer, and she's not afraid to show it. Apart from that, she's got a golden heart, but hardly anyone ever really tries to find it when she's so overly confident and stubborn.
Stubborn When it comes to things that Hawkflight has her mind set to, she's going to fight for what she believes in. Though her belief in Starclan may waver a little here and there, she never really tosses them aside to do her own thing. She's a firm believer in the Warrior Code, though, if that even still exists.
Strict Yep. Here it is. One of Hawkflight's attributes that some cats just do not like. She's strict on those that are young, mainly to whip them into Warrior material before they reach their warrior-hood, for she believes that the Warrior Ceremony is a right of passage, and a strong point that the cat receiving it is a well dedicated and grown-up feline. She isn't so hard, though, on the kits for the fact that they are young and still learning things before they become apprentices. Her strict behavior resides more with adolescent apprentices and young warriors.
Cat's History 'You think you're special just because you know so little about me? Well, you're not. No one is special to me. Call me heartless, call me brutal, but your words are just words. You are just you. You are not I, and I could care less. Here, you want to know more? Then fine. Sit yourself down, shut your mouth, and listen. You won't be happy with that you hear.
I was born. Pretty simple, right? Wrong. My mother had a horrible birthing. I was an only child, because of the still-borns before me. No, they were not my siblings. I would have hated them anyway. Unfortunately, that weak she made it through that process. My father was pleased, and I was too young to care. Why he was pleased, I'll never know. She was the third of his eight mates. Every kit he'd ever fathered never made it past their first moon, so they cared little about me. That was until I started progressing in my moons.
Since then, my father trained me himself; trained me to fight and to hunt. When I did incorrectly, I was beaten until I could no longer stand. Then, he'd make me do the same thing I'd just done, until I got it right. You can say my kit-hood wasn't right, but that's just your opinion.
I grew up, as all cats do. My father soon died, from what I don't know or care to know, my mother disappeared. I was on my own, just as I had always felt I was. Some say I'm afraid of companionship. I will not admit to it. I will not admit to being afraid of settling down. I will not, though I am.
I am Hawkflight. Me, myself, and I.
