Troutpaw is a small runt tom, he comes with a lot within him though. His base coat color is a light silver, like the fish, with light black stripes of a tabby. His eyes are a thick gray color, in which it's hard to read his emotions since he hides them so well. This color his normal and usual, he thinks nothing special of himself, and since it seems like nothing is shown, it always looks like he's made of stone.
Troutpaw was the runt of the litter of siblings. Not that he cared for them either, they left him in the dust. His small compact body makes it easy to fit into small places, and often, if he's out he is mistaken for a kit. His sharp claws add for something though, and he will be the best he can be despite his size.
His muscles are mostly around his shoulders, but he is strong. He trains on his own often, to build up his strength, not only does he want to protect his clan. He wants to prove, being small, doesn't make it that hard to become a good warrior.Personality
Troutpaw is a very stoical type of tom, he is stubborn and doesn't care much for the world around him. Perhaps because the world he lived in was cruel, but he definitely doesn't feel sorry for himself. Call it more or less a call of not trusting many cats because of being stabbed in the back deeply. Even more so, by his fellow kin. You talk to him, and chances are most likely, he will not answer. He doesn't like to socialize, and when he does, it's more or likely an argument. Troutpaw is more of an outcast then anything, because he stays away and doesn't talk much, all of his connections cut off, he makes himself seem like the cat you don't want to mess with.
On the inside, his soul is broken, an innocent little boy, who could cry his eyes out if he was allowed. Troutpaw doesn't like his past, and his mouth was almost impermanently kept shut about it. He never sold his older brother out for the crimes he committed, but in the end, it seemed like Starclan emitted him, yet he couldn't help but to want to beg for his younger brother back.
In whatever Troutpaw is lacking, he feels the rest of the clan makes up for it, that they would be better off without him, though for his aggressive nature, in the end, he feels to be a burden to the clan. If he was gone, then everything would be alright, so he asks whoever talks to him, why do they care? He know why his mentor does it, and he listens well, but he doesn't respond much.History
Troutpaw's parents were mates long before he was born, they had a litter of kits before, in which was where Troutpaw's older brother came to the world as Silverkit, who grew into a fine warrior known as Silverstone. Troutpaw was born to a litter of three, him being the runt, but Silverstone helped look after the kits when their mother got sick. Troutkit had always been cheerful, playing with his sisters all the time, and it was fun, none the less. He loved his parents as well, his mother may have been sick often, but his father was a beloved warrior, in his prime as well. Troutkit would often be out and about, speaking with elders, listening to stories, and could not wait until his moment came to become a warrior, let alone his dreams of becoming a leader. Troutkit and Silverstone were very close, and Troutkit remembers the promise of him always being there as a friend, that one promise that turned back on the kit, and ruined his life forever.
In the night, Silverstone slaughtered his family without the clan knowing, though Troutkit watched he jumped out and tried to protect them, as Silverstone vanished into the territory he tried to rush to explain what had happened to the clan, but it seemed like they wouldn't listen to him. Troutkit didn't even know what was going on, but how Silverstone had betrayed him, how close he was to his family. Silverstone lived in the clan until Troutpaw became an apprentice, where one stormy night, thunder struck a tree falling on Silverstone and crushing him to his death. Troutpaw hasn't spoken much since his families death, or his brothers, and it almost seems like, he's given up on thinking that he can trust other cats.
