Rowanpaw paced the camp out of boredom, not really paying attention where he was going. His dark tabby fur absorbing the rare leaf-bare sunlight. The recent turn of events had set Rowanpaw's mind on edge, you could see it in his amber eyes. He wanted to find someone to relax with, someone just to hang out with. So he was wandering around bored, with a solemn expression on his face. He ran he tongue over one of his front teeth. He had broke the tip off of it during his first month when he ran head first into a tree chasing a squirrel. He let himself smile at the amusing memory.

Fawnpaw trotted happily into camp, waving her tail about in the air behind her. She had to tip her head back to keep the rabbit she had in her mouth from trailing on the ground, so she had no real idea if there wasn't anything in her path. But Fawnpaw didn't worry about that. The rabbit was huge, and any mild embarrassment she'd cause herself would be but a nuisance at this point in time.
She put the dead rabbit on the fresh-kill pile and turned around to go back out when she spotted Rowanpaw pacing back and forth. Maybe he'd go with her! Two cats equals more prey, right? So Fawnpaw trotted across to him and approached just as he smiled to himself. "Heya fur-ball! What're you so amused by?" she teased with a friendly headbutt to his shoulder.

"Oh, nothing much, just a memory. A happy memory." He said. He cocked his head at the younger apprentice. Though only 3 moons apart Rowanpaw was much bigger with his large build. His body was thick, stocky and muscular. His eyes drifted over to the fresh-kill pile. "That's an awfully big rabbit, did you catch it?." He said, somewhat impressed. Rabbits rarely strayed over the border.
(I just realized I made him look like Tigerstar{the evil one}... poor Rowan. Sorry for the short post.)

Fawnpaw blinked up at the larger apprentice and tilted her head to the side. A memory? That's what made him smile like that? Then Rowanpaw asked about the rabbit, and Fawnpaw forgot about it in favor of grinning broadly. "Yup, I caught it all by myself!"
"Liar." Fawnpaw yelped out-loud and leaped forward at the voice behind her, accidentally crashing into Rowanpaw. Icepetal, the gray and white she-cat of ThunderClan sat directly behind where Fawnpaw had been sitting, her eyes gleaming with laughter. "It's not good to lie to a Clanmate, Fawnpaw. Go on, tell Rowanpaw how I helped you catch the rabbit by chasing it towards you."
Fawnpaw scowled at the older she-cat before sighing and shrugging. "Okay, fine, admit it. Icepetal helped... a little... just a tiny bit..." A smirk came on Fawnpaw's features at Icepetal's indignant huff. It was an expression that was rarely used by the ginger-and-white she-cat, so it was kind of creepy looking.

Rowanpaw scooted over a bit out of the way of Fawnpaw so she could sit down. "Just a tiny bit, eh?" The handsome tom sat down on his haunches. "But help is good, everyone needs help every now and then." Then he got a mischievous gleam in his eye. "Except maybe me." He smiled and puffed his chest out. He knew that what he said wasn't true, but it felt good to flatter himself every once and a while. He blinked his amber eyes with a good feeling. Things will get better, he told himself, it has to.
