Patrol's for the Day (Thunderclan please read)

There are far more here than are needed to defend the camp. Scanning the camp, he noticed Stormwind coming out of the warriors den. "Stormwind, my friend, would be so kind as to lead the Dawn patrol after you get something to eat? You can take Racconpaw and Redstorm with you. Head to the Shadowclan border. They've been very strange lately." Tigerflight blinked a thank you and looked around for Icepetal. I'll have her take Sootpelt and Adderpaw for the Sunhigh Patrol. And I can lead Fawnpaw and Littleleaf for the Evening Patrol. Now all I have to do is find them.

Frostbite stopped and watched the deputy getting border patrols ready. She was just by shadowclan border and everything seemed fine. One minute this cat was hitting it up in her den now actually caring about the clan and everyone in it. She gave a blink and looked around the camp seeing cats busy as ever. Her mind wandered to her leader but she stayed where she was. Padding up to her deputy she mewed, "So many apprentices not enough work for them. you would think its about time for our new leader to make cerimonies for these....things." Watching an apprentice bounce past her she shook her head.

He started to think he would have to start searching the dens. Surely they would be up by now? Then the scent of Frostbite caught his nose and he turned to greet her, dipping his respectfully. "Ah, lady Frostbite, you are such a sight for these sore eyes." He said with a sarcastic grin, "But you are true to your words, for an apprentice without a mentor is one without guidance. I have done my best to solve this, as one so intelligent as self only could, by asking all the warriors to take turns in their lessons. In this way, the entire clan can become their mentor for the time being." Though he was known to be flirt, Tigerflight always had a hunger for knowledge, and that was what made him a great deputy. "I also think that much has happened to Skystar in short time. Between returning home after the fall, Rowanstar's death, and fighting Crimsonstar," and before continuing, Tigerflight looked at Frostbite with a serious and meaningful gaze. "Among other things, I think he deserves some rest, don't you?" Though the two cats didn't know it, Tigerflight already knew that something was going on between Skystar and Frostbite. It was though his ability to know what happens in the clan, that he came to find out. From idol gossip to watching them look at each other, Tigerflight had figured it all out. But it wasn't something a cat like Tigerflight would see fit tell, for it was not his secret. He would only give his support.

Frostbite looked at the deputy with no expression on her face what so ever. She let her ears flattned against her head when he said she was a sight for sore eyes but then let them back up when he mentioned about Crimsonstar leaving and everything else her leader had been through. "He's gotten enough rest already I'm sure it wouldnt kill him if he gets up and does some work around here. He is leader, he has every right to push past it all and move on with out troubles. Of course though if he can take care of himself then I'm sure he wont need my guidence. Easy as that. The last thing we need in this clan is another cocky leader who doesnt listen to his clan." She narrowed her eyes and lashed her tail. She was talking about Skystar not Tigerflight. She was already having issues with her new leader and non she was expecting so soon.

Skystar padded out of his den, his think gray fur was well groomed and his eyes had that sparkle again. His eyes fell on Frostbite but knew all too well if he said anything directly to her, the clan would know something was up between the two. It was bad enough that Tigerflight had already gained suspicion. That being said the tom padded past the she-cat just giving her the slightest acknowledge before sitting next to his deputy."You must know Frostbite that every leader consults their deputy before assiging an apprentice to a warrior you must decide which ones are ready to handle the job." He showed know emotion towards this she-cat, he would apologize later and hopefully she would understand.

"That being said, I think....Icepetal or Sootwind....should take one Rownpaw as an apprentice. Redstorm just doesn't seem to have the patience if you ask me." he mewed to his deputy. Although Skystar himself wouldn't mind an apprentice."If I don't think either are fit by watching over them today I will take Rowanpaw as my own apprentice..." he mewed watching the apprentices play fight with each other.

His eyes fell on the ginger and white apprentice who didn't seem to acknowledge the deputy's call.Raccoonpaw, you are needed for a patrol, come here." The gray tom watched the she-cat look up at him with flirtatious eyes before running over. However the eyes quickly changed when they say Skystars stern glance.

"Sorry Skystar..." she mewed. The ginger and white apprentice looked at Tigerflight with a gleam of amusement in her eyes. The she-cat licked her fur down before letting her tail touch his flank gently."Ready when you are handsome."

Skystar raised a brow and just watched the two interact. Perhaps Fawnpaw was a bad choice for Tigerflight. Raccoonpaw and Tigerflight had the same flirtatious personality perhaps they should have been paired together. The tom just rolled his eyes before scanning the camp looking for the other warriors.

"And everty leader should know when to do his duties and not fall behind on them." she replied back to her leader. Her gaze was cold and so were her words. When she heard her leader talk about taking on rowanpaw she rolled her eyes. That was her input back in the den before he fell asleep. "Wonderful choice.." she mumbled. Maybe he will learn to how to run away from his clan then come back many moons later. she thought. so much in her wanted to say it out loud but she didnt have the heart. The white medicine cat gave the apprentice a disgusted look after the compliment and mewed, "I wouldnt call him handsome, hes anything but that.."
