Green eyes opened up seeing she was in the warriors den. She uncurled from her little tight ball she was in and gave a big yawn. Dustcloud looked to her left and saw that most of the cats were gone already. Had she over slept? If she did someone would have woken her up already. Fully uncurling herself she gave a long stretch and flattened the fur on her chest.
She padded outside and felt the sun beaming down on her. Her eyes took a while to get adjusted to the light and soon after she was able to see the camp alive and moving. apprentices talking to warriors, cats bringing in food and so on. Dustcloud padded over to the fresh kill pile and passes a few warriors and greeted them with a happy Good morning. Looking down into the fresh kill pile, there was a few fish, vole and mouse.
Dustcloud took the vole and searched around for a quiet place to eat it. She trotted over to a tree and sat down near it and took a bite into it and found it was just freshly caught. Thats just how she loved her food. She finished her food just as fast as she got it and was now content with her day. She laied down on her side but kept herself propped up watching the activity in the camp. She gave a smile and soaked up everything that was going on.

Hawkpaw had been venturing outside of the cozy den for a few hours before dawn, because as usual, she had a bit of trouble sleeping. Always restless, not caring to rest for long periods of time. Couldn't even if she wanted to. Her body just didn't work that way. Sighing audibly, her tail twitched awkwardly.
As the sun rose over the horizon, she had sit on a tree stump not far from the den, admiring the enormous flaming star and all its glory. A few clock ticks later, the members of the clan started to slowly migrate out, one by one. Their bodies lengthened and lowered to the ground as they stretched their numerous muscles in preparation for the long day ahead.
She smiled gleefully as each feline passed her and nodded in acknowledgement to her joyful greeting. No one had made a snide reaction to her yet, and that made her happy inside. Yet no one stopped by to talk to her. That made her grimace somewhat. Oh, well, she would just have to seek her company, just like she did with every other aspect of her life. Got nothing for free, one had to work hard for anything they got. She rolled her eyes at the thought.
Her pupils widened in curiosity as she spotted a tawny she-cat lying what appeared to be lazily in the sun rising in the east. Her auds flickered back in forth as she pondered her next move. Within moments she was bounding reassuringly towards the newfound prospect.

Mosspaw peered through the lichen and brambles that carefully made up the medicine cats den. She was in here all the time and it was pretty much her den. The medicine cat always had to keep a close eye on the brown apprentice as she could catch something easily that could take her life. With a light sneeze and a shake of her head, she bounded over to the prey pile and snagged herself a water vole. It was things such as this that made Mosspaw experience life day by day.
Swiping her tongue around her brown muzzle, the she-cat thanked Starclan for her meal and looked around. Cats had begun to emerge from their dens. The dappled rays of sunlight were flowing into the camps walls. Even with such sunlight the air was chilled and Mosspaw couldn't help but shiver when the chill nonchalantly crawled up her spine.
Mosspaw was not one to complain but today was incredibly chilly. Warriors and apprentices would probably start to insulate the dens to keep the cats warm this leafbare. Mosspaw knew she would be very warm since her own nest was surrounded by so much lichen, brambles, and moss that there were times where she was so warm she had to leave to get a breath. The brown she-cat eyed Hawkpaw and Dustcloud whom were not really doing anything. Perhaps they would want to play?
With a quick move in her step she quickly bounded over to Hawkpaw. Her green eyes were sparkling and her whiskers twitched with amusement."Your up early Hawkpaw! Any particular reason?" she asked looking at the she-cat with a warm gaze.

Dustcloud looked around and almost missed the little apprentice Hawkpaw bounce to her. She gave a sweet smile and in no time at all another apprentice caught er eye. Mosspaw. Her tail moved back and freth in the grass and she heard mosspaw say a few owrds to hawkpaw. Dustcloud wasnt going to stay here long. She was going to get up soon and so some hunting. She was an amazing fish catcher even thought she didnt like eating them very often. She also liked the feeling of the water under her belly. She didnt want to be cooped up in here for long. Just a few more seconds and she will be on her way.

The pretty tortoiseshell she-cat had all of her attention on the warrior female when she heard footsteps bounding up to her. Crania twisted quickly upon her nape and she stared at the approaching cat. Her eyes narrowed at first but quickly widened as she saw that the fellow apprentice was friendly. A smile drew upon her lips.
"Oh, I just couldn't sleep. Sleeping is pretty boring stuff you know..." Instead of a playful expression, hers was serious even though she couldn't help but have a smile tugging at her corners. Her gaze was upon the brown femme for a second, and then her ADD distracted her from giving her whole attention. She switched her gaze to the adult female.
Her auds flickered back a few times, unsure of this warrior. She seemed restless, as if she wouldn't stay for long. This disappointed her... Perhaps she could go along?! Yes, that would be fun! Chiming in as clear as a bell, she mewed to her, "Where are you going to head off to? May I come?!" Then she remembered she wasn't alone... Returning her attention to the delicate apprentice she almost grimaced. It seemed like she wanted to play with Hawkpaw, and here she was trying to run off with a grown cat. It made her feel bad. She was at odds on who she wanted to hang out with. A small sigh escaped her as she looked from one to the other.
[ooc: sorry it took so long to reply! I wasn't home for the weekend!]

Dustcloud was a bit confused. "I'm sorry little one.. I didn't think I said anything about where I was going out loud..but I was thinking about getting out and about to go check borders and maybe hunt a bit. I cant be cooped up in this camp for long, no offense but I need to get out once in a while.."
Getting up and giving a stretch she looked down at the apprentice and mewed, "If you do want to come maybe you can show me your best hunting crouch and catch something for the elders? Or maybe even for our leader. I'm sure that would be much liked."
turning around she headed towards the camp enterence and didnt wait for the apprentice to catch up. She wanted to get out and get out now.

ooc:Mossy isn't a loud outside of camp so ill let you two continue this thread on your own. :3 ill jump back in when they get back from hunting.
Mosspaw looked at Dustcloud, then to Hawkpaw. Her green eyes were a bit degraded but there was nothing she could really do. With a skip in her step the she-cat walked towards the clan entrance. She twitched her whiskers with amusement and nodded."I can't leave the clan camp without permission from Howlingwind so you two have a nice hunt, ill be here when you get back." she mused.

The black and gold apprentice listened to Dustcloud intently, and nodded enthusiastically as the warrior suggested her showing off her hunting skills and to maybe even bring back a kill... She shivered in excitement. If she was to be successful she would earn the respect of her clan members! Her claws dug into the ground, and back into her sheathes a couple times, getting into the enthusiasm of a possible hunt.
Her attention turned to Mosspaw as she spoke. Her kitten eyebrows furrowed in empathy. She felt sorry for her, and she would have liked to have someone her age go with her. She softly meowed at her in apology. Turning back to look at the warrior cat, she was no longer there. Her tail began to twitch in her frantic state as she scanned the area for her... Then her eyes locked onto a form at just the edge of the camp. She had tried to leave without her! She let out a huff in mild frustration... She guessed she couldn't blame her, the she-cat was dying to escape the camp.
Bounding after her, pads rhythmically hitting the terrain silently as she pushed her body to its limit in order to not lose her. After about a half a minute she had caught up with her, and narrowed her eyes in slight frustration, but looked away before Dustcloud would even notice. She didn't want to offend the warrior cat. Meowing audibly, she said, "So where are we hunting?"
