Everything was going as planned, Maplestar, urm, Slash, walked right into the plan with an open mind, just what he had hoped for. They were well on their way to getting recruits for their new Clan; Slash would start with ShadowClan, his own, and then move onto WindClan, while Hinder would take on RiverClan, and the rogues that were wandering around these parts. He wasn't intimidated by the task at hand, seeing of course that it involved walking into enemy territory and requesting warriors to leave their homes and fight against them in the future. Still, it was a price he was willing to pay, because in the end, it would a minuscule delay in his master plan. After he had left the land of Shadow, he had stayed only long enough to hear the cries of agreement from Slash's Clan mates, or ex-Clan mates. He had left directly after that, heading for RiverClan territory.
It didn't phase him that he had to cross over the two-leg area, their scent had been dead for awhile. Even so, most cats would've thought twice before wandering out onto the felled logs covered in a blanket of white. Hinder didn't have time to think twice. This was not a matter that could be taken lightly. He cleared the two-leg habitat swiftly, before landing on the other side safe on solid ground. Manoeuvring his way over the uneven, and unfamiliar ground beneath his feet, Hinder used his sense of smell to locate the direction of the camp, for swift entry hoping that he would not be caught by a border patrol, or hunting patrol for that matter. However, when he figured himself half way to the RiverClan camp, he caught find of strong RiverClan scents coming to his nose. Greeeat. He thought to himself but continued to walk, picking up his pace. But, a call from the distance, telling him to stop, brought about a sigh from the scavenging rogue, and he drew his paws to a stop. That went well Hinder.
Then a thought came to his head, he was no longer a Clan cat, so why listen to them? A smile of freedom erupted on his face and he picked up his pace again, until he was sprinting across RiverClan territory. Soon he found himself overwhelmed by the scent of RiverCln cats, and he knew he had found his destination. Locating the entrance, he pushed his way through the opening and into the camp. Weird looks greeted him, but why would the question him? He was a leader of a Clan after all, well as far as they knew he was still ThunderClan's esteemed leader. With his head held high he walked over to Graystar, the leader he least respected out of the rest. Not pulling any punches, and not giving her the bow a leader was required to receive, he spoke to her, his voice cold.
"I wish to speak to your Clan mates. It is most important that they hear what I have to say." Snarling at her, he turned away from her, and leaped onto her place above the Clan. Looking down over the Clan of the River, he felt his heart beat increase, and excitement pulse through his veins. Tail flicking back and forth, he cleared his throat and spoke. "Cats of RiverClan! I stand here before you, not as Crimsonstar, leader of ThunderClan! That title has been ripped from my paws by a traitor!" Pausing to calm himself, he took in a few deep breaths, but was not able to stop the curling of his lip.
"Skyhawk, the warrior who fell off the cliff, and found himself in the hands of two-legs, attacked me in cold blood in front of my Clan mates! I was not given a chance to retaliate! It was a cowards attack, while my back was turned to him!" Seething now, with the lies that were coming out of him as if they were the actual truth, he brought up his paw and slammed it on his pedastal as he continued to talk. "He exiled me from my own camp. To live as rogues live. Well, I refuse to leave my home that easily! So, I extend my request out to the mighty warriors, the brave apprentices, the noble queens, and the wise elders! Join me, and Maplestar, in our conquest to destroy Skyhawk, and restore the dignity that ThunderClan once had!"
