Wolfstorm had become accustomed to darkness. He welcomed the blackness that night offered with an inviting behavior. Somehow, the starry sky seemed to make Wolfstorm a little on edge for he was told when younger, for every star in the sky that night, one cat had died. Be it a noble death, that of murder or that of natural causes, Wolfstorm was never told. Death... Death was something Wolfstorm was used to by nature. Something he had learned to be unexpected but expected all the same. Loneliness was something he used to feel often, but after he became a warrior his views on life changed. He became the cat he is today.
The night had a slow yet heavy wind. As it whirled around Wolfstorm, he felt comfort. He didn't feel so purposeless that night. Wolfstorm had not been assigned to a patrol, that of hunting nor borders so he found himself wandering to the loner lands. It wasn't something he did often. He was actually on the patrols a lot. Tonight seemed off, however. Wolfstorm began to wonder if he were the only wanderer this night. The lack of presence was oblivious, comforting and distressing all the same.
Emerald eyes were fluorescent in the shadowed land. Wolfstorm found himself wandering to the old abandoned house. The scent was alluring, and intimidating. Tonight seemed a night of many different possibilities, all of them conflicting. Wolfstorms sleek body glided through the tall grass, his paws carrying him with grace and silence. Ivory claws were extended ever so slightly, to keep his traction on the damp ground. The abandoned house was in sight now and slowly the male began to slink toward it. His long tail held his balance flawlessly and Wolfstorm sighed before going into the building for the first time. He had heard stories of it being haunted. He did not believe such things. Here goes nothing... He chuckled quietly to himself.

Echo was resting in the broken down old house, bored. She had just finished grooming her creamy white fur. She took in a deep breath. Her nose picked up the scent of her fellow VirusClanmates. Of Mongoose and Ice and a few other cats. She sighed. No sign of Lynx. She took in another sniff. Something else caught her attention. Her eyes narrowed. Clan crowfood, She hissed to herself. She sniffed again, the cat was getting closer. Echo cocked her right, non-deaf ear towards the direction of the cat. There was the faint sound of paws hitting the ground. Echo let a growl emerge from her throat. She was on her paws, her claws unsheathed themselves. Echo was ready for a fight.

Ice tilted her head to the side and locked eyes with the tom. He was handsome and from a clan, then again so had she. She used to belong to Shadowclan but as she grew and she met a rogue she like this life much better. The silver point she-cat blinked for just a second before jumping down from a large rafter . She landed gracefully just a few feet from the clan born tom. She didn't say anything. She just blinked her auburn eyes and watched him. She forgot what it was like to be a clan cat to be honest. Indeed she had.
With whipped her tail back and forth watching. She was the clans healer and main queen meaning she produced offspring for the clan. None of the toms had mated with her as of late but she knew it was bound to happen eventually. With a twitch of her silver whiskers she parted her jaws to speak. The healer blinked once before speaking to the tom."Why are you here Clan cat, don't you know it's dangerous?

Echo bounded up next to Ice. "Yes, don't you know it's dangerous." She meowed, her voice sounded sickly sweet, like it was dripping with molasses. Her claws dug into the ground. "You really shouldn't be here." Echo eyed the tom as if she was unimpressed, which she was. Echo's long tail flicked around wildly. Echo considered herself an unsual looking cat, especially with her one blue and one green eye. Echo wished this cat would just vanish so she can go back to admiring herself. That's one of the things she did best, this cream cat was indeed very vain. Echo had a feeling Ice wouldn't let her fight the tom, not yet anyways, but she stayed next to the other she-cat anyway. She hadn't been in a fight in a while, it would be good to practice.

First, there was silence in the rundown building. However, only his ears were silenced. Wolfstorm could see shadows and could smell others'. Wolfstorm wasn't one to so easily be swayed with fear, however. He was a noble cat. He was brave. He did not head fear. However, he did not feel it now. He was only cautious. It became obvious that he was not alone. This feeling made his fur slightly prickle up, simply because they were strangers. His claws dug into the ground once, and then two cats were in his view. Wolfstorm studied them, his voice hard. His gaze was fearless, and his body confident.
They spoke of possible dangers. He only snorted. Do you think I would come here without knowing what I may find? He spoke. His bass voice was calm and his ears were twitching, hearing mice scuttle around. You give me a subtitle based upon my heritage, yet you know not of what I am capable of... It is clear your heart is confident. Wolfstorm spoke to the silver she-cat. He eyed her, then curiosity was strong within him. You would make a fine warrior. He said. He wondered if she had ever belonged to a Clan. Then he looked to the other female. Who are you to say what I should and shouldn't do? Wolfstorm asked. He was comfortable in his situation, and confidence was to the brin in his body.

Ice dipped her head in respect to the clan warrior's words."Yes, that's what I've been told, but after being a warrior in a clan where I didn't feel like I belonged too I left that life." Ice wasn't as keen to fighting as her clan mates were. She was a more civil she-cat and tried to solve things by verbal communication other than physical communication. She blinked a few times before flicking her tail at Echo letting the she-cat know it was not time to fight. As healer and the only queen to provide kits for the clan, she was higher up and of course had more say. Not as much as Mongoose but she still had a fair amount.
The silver she-cat relaxed. Her fur lowered and her muscles relaxed as well to let this tom know she would not be a threat to him. Most clan cats are curious as to what's inside this place, so I'm guessing that got the best of you." she mewed calmly. The she-cat stared him down with soft brown eyes which was unusal for a light silver pelt. Most silver cats had blue eyes, her were a rich brown color."This is territory to the Rogues, we call ourselves Virus, do not ask why that I don't know. I decided to join them as a healer, I feel more at home here than in a clan....perhaps you would be interested in us?"

Echo sat on her haunches and pouted, another one of her skills. She never got to fight anyone. It's not fair. She told herself. I bet if Mongoose was here he would let me take all the fur I want of this cat... Echo's right ear twitched when she heard the warrior speak to her. But she ignorerd him. She had lots of practice with that, living with her brother insured it. Echo stopped pouting at Ice's last remark. Did she really want a warrior hanging about? "You can't let him in, he's one of them! He shouldn't even be here in the first place." She growled.

Wolfstorm smiled softly at the she-cat. He knew how the life of a clan cat might produce such feelings. He dipped his head slowly, but not to low. He suddenly had respect for this cat. She obviously had been through much. His eyes were soft and sympathetic. Not for her, but for her clan. She was obviously capable. I am sorry such feelings influenced your life so greatly. However, I am more sorry for the clan whom lost you. They lost a great warrior, I'm sure. Wolfstorm flickered his ears, then turned his attention to the other she-cat. He eyed her, but only that. She obviously had problems with his being there.
Then, the other whom he had been speaking to spoke again. She seemed to be recruiting him. Wolfstorm stood tall then and dipped his head in respect again. I am flattered, miss, but my duty and loyalty remains to RiverClan. He said, his baritone voice sincere but all the same, a little on edge. The other female didn't like him, nor want him here. When she spoke, Wolfstorm bared his teeth a little. Once again, you judge me for what I am? Yes, I am a clan cat. However, you know not whom I really am. You need to stop speaking as though you did, and as though you have the authority to do so. Wolfstorm spoke calmly. He slowly felt something in him begin to consume him and he knew he would not be able to remain so polite if she did not knock it off. It was in his nature to be cruel, however the other female intrigued him greatly.

Echo gave a multicolored stare at the tom. She was as irritated by him as she was with her. She glanced over at Ice. What was she doing? Echo stayed in her silence when a thought crossed her mind.Is she trying to flirt? The thought of flirting, with anyone, made her gag. But she changed her attitude anyway. Hopefully if she was mostly pleasant he would leave. "I suppose your right, but you're just lucky none of the others were here. Most of them aren't as willing to speak as she is." Echo was proud of herself, she had admitted she was wrong, which was a rare thing. Echo cocked her right ear to hear what the clan cat had to say. Though she had lost the edginess to her voice, her eyes were hard and alert.

Ice flicked her tail on Echo's flank gently."Echo why do you judge him more quickly than you judged myself? I was clan born, yet you accepted me rather quickly." she mewed to her close friend. They were near opposites yet they seemed to click. Ice didn't like her lifestyle but it was life she chose to live sort of...being a clan cat put her at an advantage. She was perviously, lionflowers apprentice so she knew a bunch about herbs. She also trained as a warrior at one point. She had multiple skills but being the healer it was her job to make sure the clan reproduced
"Your clan comes first, I feel much more at home here, I guess I take more after my father than I do my mother since my father was a rogue." she mewed. Her tail tipped twitch. When the tom mentioned he was from Riverclan her eyes lit up."You must know Mosspaw then, how is she?" She remembered when she was young the apprentice was very sick like, hopefully she hadn't gone to starclan.?
"I suppose your right, but you're just lucky none of the others were here. Most of them aren't as willing to speak as she is."
Ice whipped her gaze towards echo. She was slightly aggitated but she didn't understand the relationship clan cats had. She drew her lip back but didn't snarl and her whiskers twitched."Probably out recruiting Echo, you recruit whereever you can...."

Echo responded with a huffy sound. She knew Ice was right; Echo hated it when she was wrong. The cream she-cat examined her paws in silence. How embarrasing... Echo thought. But then she thought. Why was she more receptive to Ice than this newcomer? Because he was a tom? Though fairly young, Echo knew toms meant trouble, wether rouge or clan. But no it wasn't either, this cat reminded her of her father. Echo felt a wave of sadness hit her. She missed her father. If only Ash where here... Echo refused to let the emotion show. I have to move on... Echo backed up slowly, but not to far away, from the other cats, letting herself mourn her father once again. She did that often.
