Dustcloud groomed her fur as she waited for her apprentice to show up. She looked at the apprentices den and gave a sigh. Why were apprentices always late? Even for time to look at their home. She gave a glance at the leaders den then at a few warriors sharing tounges.

Giving a yawn she shook her head and shook her head. She then tried to decide what she was going to dowith mosspaw today. Of course show her the territory. Maybe see how well she hunts now? Too early for that? Maybe fighting? no save that for later. So many things to do with an apprentice. She didnt have a lot of time with mosspaw either. This time was going to be gone in a blink of an eye and she will be getting her warrior name before she knew it.

Graystar decided that Mosspaw had been healthy this past moon and decided to let her train a bit more. However, she knew for a fact that Dustcloud would only be taking her out twice a week instead of four or five like most apprentices. The sickly brown she-cat made her way over to her mentor. She had a two-leg equivalent of cancer but what Medicine cat knew that? She didn't even know what was wrong with her really. She sat down and wrapped her tail around her paws."What will we be doing today Dustcloud?"

Dustcloud was happy to see her apprentice pad out of the den. She watched the little one come up to her and thought about her question. "Well I was thinking about taking you for a walk around the territory. That way you get familiar with your home." She gave mosspaw a blink with a smile and then asked, "How does that sound?" It was a nice day out and she wouldnt want to waste this day fighting. It was then decided that a just a walk in her territory would be just fine for her.
