Shinestream's blue eyes scanned the ground. New- leaf was near, so she was looking for herbs. "I'm lucky all my supplies lasted the whole leaf-bare this year!"she thought, she hadn't found any herbs yet. she sighed, and took a rest near the clan's river.

Sparrowstar flicked his ears as he listened to the birds chirp. As he walked mud got stuck inbetween his toes. He gave a snar of disgust before continuing on. His eyes spotted Shinestream, their medicine cat. Raising a brow he walked forward."It must have been nice not having to deal with any Greencough or Whitecough, or even the most dreaded black cough, how are you fairing today Shinestream? Hopefully you are well with the sun being out." hte leader mewed. He found a dry patch of dirt and wrapped his tail around his paws. "Things have been....things have been peaceful in the forest...has it not?"

Shinestream dipped her head to the leader. "Hello, Sparrowstar, I am doing very well. And yes, things have been quite peaceful."she meowed, her golden pelt blowing in the. "Its lovely new-leaf is coming, because the herb collection is low, and I can't find anymore.''she told Sparrowstar, flicking her tail calmly.

Sparrowstar nodded the fact that it was peaceful was odd. He didn't want to worry too much about his clan but StarClan had been quiet as of late and it concerned him. He looked along the banks of the river, he knew himself would be of little to no use with the knowledge of herbs that he had. With that he let out a sigh and let his gaze wander innocently back to the clans medicine cat."With New-leaf brings new herbs, kits, and new warriors to defend the clan." he mewed. Looking the she-cat in the eye.
'Shinestream, have you had any dreams from StarClan, they have been quiet and peace can only last for so long before it is no longer there."

Shinestream shook her head. "Not lately. But if I, I'll tell you as soon as I do."she promised. "How strange. Sometimes, Starclan's signs are hidden, but it rare when there are none at all for a while."she thought out-loud. "Oh, Starclan. Are you going to send me any sign soon?"she asked silently.
