Raccoonpaw was requestd by her mentor and new deputy to wake up this morning for some training. Raccoonpaw and mornings did not mix. The she-cat had to get up earlier than usual to groom her ginger and white fur. After a long awhile of making sure her fur was sleek for her mentor she padded out of the apprentices den. She looked confused. Stormwind didn't appear to be anywhere. She twitched her whiskers and looked for another cat who would know where the deputy was. The she-cat blinked and padded to the fresh kill pile. Taking a small mouse the she-cat nibbled a few pieces whilst looking for Stormwind. Still didn't see him.
She did however spy the gray frail tom who was ThunderClan's supposed noble leader."Have you seen Stormwind this morning?" She cooed. She batted her eyes in hopes it would get an answer quicket. When the tom shook his head and walked past her she anger bubbling in her core. Why did everyone A. not talk to her or B. Not keep track of the other warriors..."...I got up for nothing..." the flirtacious she-cat muttered under her breath.

Stormwind almost felt his eye twitch as he watched his apprentice. He watched, hidden somewhere in the camp, as she looked around for him. What would she do? Would she look around for him? Ask if anyone'd seen him? Shrug and go back to sleep? The answers are as followed: not hard enough, only one cat, and probably if he gave her enough time.
The deputy sighed in annoyance. He had a lot to teach Raccoonpaw, and he meand a lot. Sneaking around, obviously still unseen by Raccoonpaw, he approached silently at her back and meowed dryly, "Maybe your eyes are getting in the way of your nose."

Raccoonpaw raised a brow and simply scoffed."I wasn't trying to use my tracking skills. I'm inside the camp. Training for me, in my own eyes, doesn't start for me until my paws are outside of the gorge. got it? therefore I wasn't really trying. TO be honest." The she-cat mewed. Yeah she had an attitude but it was her true thoughts and cats were entitled to have their own opinions. Were they not? She shook out her ginger and white fur making it a kit like fluffyness. She loved her fur, and everything about herself. She was perfect, at least in her own eyes and that's all that matters.
"If you want to get techinical...you were late, I was on tom. I didn't see Skystar do that with Timberpaw. I didn't see any warrior do that with their apprentice. I apologize to the mighty deputy for not thinking." she mewed. She dipped her head. This of course was all a sarcastic matter."What are we doing today Stormwind?" she mewed, a little bit more enthusiastic about her training.

With each word she spoke, his eyes narrowed more and more until they were mere slits gleeming green. "This wasn't training, it was me seeing if you had the sense of a newborn kit to try and smell if I was already awake. Keep talking like that and the only thing you'll be doing is cleaning out dens for the next moon."
He turned away and started to pad toward the camp entrance. Over his shoulder, Stormwind meowed, "Come on. Since you've not the sense of a kit, it's best to try and teach it to you. We'll do tracking and hunting today."

Raccoonpaw flicked her tail as she followed her mentor out of the camp. Cleaning the dens? She didn't want to get her paws that dirty. That being said that imediately quieted the she-cat. She thought of ways to appraise her attitude and figured complimenting him would be the best way to do it."Your very Handsome this morning Stormwind. I bet you've been training hard and eating well..." she mewed. Attempting to keep up with him."Must be hard work to be in such a deputy, I bet you are well respected, no one thought Skystar would actually replace his beloved Tigerflight."
She twitched her whiskers and stopped moving. Hunting...and tracking. Perfect didn't involve too much work and Raccoonpaw had the most skills in hunting. She just didn't like battling. That meant getting her paws incredibly dirty or possibly breaking a claw."I'm a great hunter. Banepaw taught me. and I was just out on a hunting patrol....with Skystar Timberpaw and Hollyshadow." she beamed. She was ready to show her mentor what she already knew."...but...I bet you could teach me better than they could ANY day." she mewed. Complimenting the tom again.

Stormwind finally understood what Frostbite always complains- complained- about when she said that apprentices talked too much. Blah blah blah blah blah... Oh great StarClan above, would someone please stuff her head down an occupied fox hole... But then she's probably talk the fox to death too.
Oh, and the compliments! Those weren't really helping Raccoonpaw as much as she seemed to think they were. She kept up a steady stream of them until Stormwind wanted to hide in a rabbit den. "OKAY Raccoonpaw, here is good enough." He stopped in a random place and turned to her, trying not to grimace. "Tracking first. What do you smell?"

Raccoonpaw lifted her head towards the sky. Her ears flickered and her nostril canal opened slightly. She knew what she could see and hear. The scent of mouse suddenly drifted into her nose. She whipped her head to the right and sure enough a small rustle gave too and she saw it scurry across the floor. She wanted to hunt it down knowing it would make a good meal for a kit or queen later on but she knew very well if she went against her mentors words all hell would break lose.
"Mouse....Frostbite and Crimsonstar, heading towards Moonpool, stale of course..." her voice trailed off knowing their medicine cat was missing. Now was the time not to be wreckless."Squirrel...I believe...a bird of some type although I don't recognize it." she mewed as she wrapped her ginger and white tail around her tiny paws.
