Patchkit opened her eyes and saw the big den she was in. Looking around she a huge bundle of fur which must have been her mother. Her brothers and sisters were still sleeping but she wanted to play. The little kitten scooted over to her brother snowkit and pawed him with her little tiny paw. "Wake up! come on you have been sleeping all day!" Seeing he didnt move Patchkit crawled over to the exit of the den and looked outside. The world was so big compared to her! Cats of all shapes and colors were out and about. Only something must have just happened seeing everyone was in shock and almost in tears. Patchkit wanted to know what was going on..

He stretched his tiny legs and stared at his sister angrily. "I was sleeping." he grumbled - light kitten blue eyes narrowed in annoyance. With a sigh he padded up to stand next to her, his tiny attention span soon forgetting the crime and focused on the big land outside. With a smile he nudged his sister. "Wanna go play warrior and explore?" he asked voice squeaking with excitement. |

Patchkit almost didnt hear her brother come up from behind her seeing she was more interested in what was going on with everyone else. "How about lets dont but say we did. Everyone doesnt seem so happy.. something must have happened.. Let's go check it out!" she mewed happily taking her first step out into the world.
She looked behind her and waited to see if her brother was following her. "Snowkit come on! Dont be a coward!"Looking back infront of her she took a few cautious steps toward the gathering of cats. |

Snowberry looked at the kits with warm eyes. Boy had they grown. She thought about Frostbite and how she must have wanted to see this so bad. She had been missing since her trip to moonpool. Skystar hadn't been himself lately the clan seemed to be falling apart."Be careful you two, don't get into to much trouble and don't annoy the warriors. You can always Visit Snakestone if you want some amusement." Their mother mewed.
Brookkit stretched and opened her eyes. The fluffy gray kitten looked around. Where was her father? It was so hard living up to the name, being a kit of the noble leaders. SHe closed her eyes slowly and opened them once more. Looking at her sister and brother she let out a vibrated purr."Can I come?" the she-cat squeaked.

Patchkit looked back at her sister brookkit and nodded eagerly. "Of course! The more the better!" She looked back to see stormkit sleeping away along with hazelkit. He could come on the next trip to whereever land they were going. She didnt want to go out to the elders den.. she wanted to see the camp and meet all the warriors. Padding out into the camp the poor thing almost got trampled on having a warrior pass by her. She scurried to the side of the den wall and saw her fur was fluffed out all over the place. Settling down she looked back out into the clearing and bounced away with her siblings or not. |

Hazelkit opened her eyes. She noticed the absence of her three siblings. The missing empty spots in the nest made her cold, waking her up. She pushed herself up. "Where did they go?" She asked Snowberry. She blinked her mother with wondering green eyes. "Can I go with them please?" She asked,making sure to use her manners. She smiled for an extra good measure. |

Stormkit blinked his eyes open and forced himself to stand up an all four of his paws and start grooming himself, ignoring the absence of his 3 siblings at the moment. He brought his small tongue across his silver fur with faded black stripes, clearing away pieces of moss and flattening out his fluffy kit fur.
"I'm going out Snowberry." Stormkit informed his mother bluntly and walked out of the den, careful to not block anycat's path "I wonder where dad went... Oh, well. You coming Hazelkit?"

Patchkit stayed close to the walls of the dens and got a disgusting sent run through her nose. Yet she couldnt help but see what it was. Her little paws carried her to a huge den full of plants and moss and cobwebs. Dropping her jaw she wondered if this was the medicine cats den. Wow, how cool would it bo to have snowberry as the medicine cat of Thunderclan! Walking around the den she eyed everything. She saw a huge nest and tried to jump up onto it but sadly fell down giving a squeak and rolling over and sitting down in disapointment. Something about this den seemed.. off though. Wasnt that she wasnt welcomed here just.. felt odd... almost comforting to be in the den of a medicine cat. Of course they were the ones who helped save your life. Where was the medicine cat?.. |

"Okay Stormkit, I am coming!" Hazelkit said, standing up and running out the entrance following him. She avoided tripping over something the first time, but not the second time. She let out a small 'oof' before giggling at her incident and pushed herself up on tiny paws. Her fluffy, tiger striped fur was covered with dust. She shook out her fur and sneezed before continuing to follow her littermates. She caught up to Stormkit. "Where did Patchkit go Stormkit?" She asked looking around. |

"Patchkit went somewhere over there." the young kit responded with a twitch of his ears, pointing his tail towards the direction of the medicine cat den "Should we go join them?"
Without waiting for an answer, Stormkit padded towards his other siblings. In all honesty, he wanted to go and explore the camp himself but he didn't want to abandon his littermates either.
On his way to the other kits, the gray tom stumbled across some cobwebs. Stormkit gave the object a cautious sniff then picked it up, bringing the cobwebs towards the medicine cat den.

Hazelkit followed along, a bit more timid about entering. She took a sniff of the den and wrinkled her nose in disgust. She took a few more steps inside."I don't think we should be in here." She said. The little kit felt uncomforable in the medicine cat den. "We could get caught. Then we'd be in so much trouble."She stammered on. The tiger kit backed out of the den. She didn't like it in there, not one bit, so she sat outside the entrance, watching them, wondering why she even went in on the first place |

Brookkit raised a brow and followed her siblings towards the medicine cats den."It's so empty...and big..." she squeak. "the scent is almost soothing ya know? its familiar to me...kinda of like moms ya know?" she mewed to her siblings she inched forward poking her nose over the den."is our medicine cat invisible? does she only appear when someones hurt?" she squeaked.
The large gray tom was mewing something to another warrior when a flicker of movement caught his eye. He looked towards the nursery where he saw Snowberry soaking up the warm sun she seemed almost relieved to be away from the 5 kits. Skystar narrowed his eyes and saw all five of them head straight for the medicine cats den."please excuse me Sootpelt." the tom mewed. With a large bound the leader roared playfulled and scooped patchkit up in his jaws and placed her outside."We can play, but only outside. That den is off limits.." he mewed thinking about his mate. The tom leaped and wriggled his tail playfully in the air."I'm a mean ShadowClan cat and I'm going to eat you RAWR!!!! the tom mewed. He bared his fangs playfully and wanted for his kits to attack him. Just because he was a leader, didnt mean he couldn't play with his kits.

Stormkit had put the cobwebs in the den as Brookkit started to speak.
"It also reminds me of mom... And the scent...." Stormkit looked around the den and listened carefully, hearing the sound of water and the soft movement of herbs moving "It really does feel familiar. I kinda like this place..."
The young tom really did like the den with so many strange scents and comforting sounds. It was rare for the kit to feel so peaceful. He enjoyed the feeling until his father, Skystar, decided to kick them out of the den.
Stormkit hesitantly walked out of the den and to his father who apparently was willing to play with his kits. However, Skystar's son merely gave an annoyed glance at his father.
"Not every Shadowclan cat is mean Skystar." the kit flicked his tail sharply, the gray kit had some sort of fascination with the rivaling clan and got annoyed when other cats immediately said they were bad "They only prove a threat to us when in battle or when they plan to harm us in any form or way."

Patchkit was just about to respond when she felt herself being lifted up and carried outside. Being set down on the ground she looked up at who took her away from the peaceful den and saw it was her father! He was alive! Patchkit did like her father and laughed, "Oh stormkit we all know shadowclan cats are mean! Their attitudes are as worse as a badgers, whatever that is....Get him!!" Patchkit then flattened her ears on her head and charged at her father. She ran to his side and scrambled up onto her father's back and then onto his head and started to tug on his ear with her teeth. |

Sagepaw made his way to the front of the den where heard the voice of his leaders and some kits. He stood there silently, in a mood worse than most. He sat, his tail wrapped around his paws. The young tomcat had a large intake of the emptiness that stood in the place of Frostfang. She was more like a mother figure to him than anything. Apparently these kits had no idea of what had happened... His thoughts trailed off into darkness. His mind thought the worst and so he looked as he thought. Different emotions and thought ran through his head, he would have to take over her duties, take care of the clan. He felt sad, overwhelmed, scared, betrayed by now who is known as the CrimsonClan, Hinder. He felt like he wanted to just drop and when he awoke everything would be okay. But that fairytale was far from the truth. The young tuxedo tom also held a secret that only a few knew. His mind was heavy with dread, then his thoughts turned back to the kits and the leader.
